To be fair, I think this Optimus is much more… worn out. He’s older than the other versions and has seen war much longer and has seen much more gruesome events involving most of his family and friends. He is done. He is tired. He has stopped holding back so he can end this war. And finally get some god damn peace. He just wants a happy ending.
