There is a piece of plastic on the spiral part of one of the poles, looks like packaging but it needs to STAY ON as you insert it into the other tube. Mine was clear, maybe yours is a solid color. This is essential for the twisting and tightening part of the assembly. Hope this helps someone, suffered for 3 hours to learn that lol
My product came with tape. The instructions say to "place the tape strips around the seams of the tubes." Is this something new? (Not mentioned in this video) Won't the steam eventually make it not adhere?
This Zenna Home Tension Pole Caddy model 2141AL is driving me crazy. Home can you join Tube B with Tube A. There is no way I can do it. Also you can't extend the tube B. You can't twist it. I need HELP. 👿😠
My twist tube simply doesn't work. Doesn't grab anything, spins uselessly. Just bought an OXO. More expensive, but very easy to install, no twist tube to deal with. Threw the Zenna product in the recycle bin, not worth my time/money to return.
Under NO CIRCUMSTANCE could I have ever assembled this simple-ass thing without watching this video (a couple times). The instructions provided with the pole caddy are quite possibly (factually) the worst, most confusing collection of useless information that I've ever encountered. Hey Zenna Home, isn't it about time you upgraded the instructions for these units (to something actually useful)? I'd imagine it would reduce your return rate significantly. If nothing else, it would certainly make some of your customers much happier.
We had the same issue with the extendable part not loosening. I think it was faulty. Took it back to where we bought it and exchanged. No issues with new one.

My B is stuck it won’t loosen
