I've been shopping at Dollar Tree near me for these items for years. I saw in the background of one shot (12:37) the little tins with puzzles in them. These are the best! I keep them in my to go bag. They are perfect to curb kid’s (and your) restaurant boredom. Highly recommend.

Since you mentioned trips in the car with the uno cards and you have little children I’ll pass along something I did with mine that helped tremendously on trips. I would go to the dollar store and get them all a gift bag to fill with games, puzzles, crayons & coloring books, little toys, just anything you think they would like that is ok for the vehicle. Then I’d get snacks for the ride too. I’d have their bags ready to give them just before we were leaving. They got a present which always made them happy and they had plenty of new fun things to keep them occupied and snacks to keep them happy. Depending on how long the trip is you can determine how many items you need to keep them busy. Mine loved it and it helped a lot on long trips.
I used to give my kids a box of bandaids for a car trip. They were better than stickers.

I broke the toy/snacks into small bags that could be passed out each hour on a long drive. Really made a big difference in overall pleasure for my granddaughter. Of course that was before she grew up and had her face in electronics. 😊
I often throw a couple mini coloring books and small packs of crayons in my purse when flying. If there's a little kid sitting by me I ask their parent if they can have one. The novelty of a new box of crayons and a fresh book to color in staves off a meltdown sometimes.

Keep in mind that the all purpose peppermint sage cleaner could cause your cat's lung/breathing problems. I had peppermint in my house to ward off insects in my doors. My cat almost died due to breathing issues from the peppermint water spray.

The makeup brush holder is for drying your brushes after cleaning; they should be dried upside down. There's a lot of slots to accommodate different size brushes.

For the Centrum, just be sure to check the expiration date. My dollar tree is hit or miss when it comes to expiration dates. I bought some Ricola cough drops and 2 wasn't going to expire till 2025 but one had expired already last year.

@@verawolfenbarger5875 do you know expired vitamins turn toxic? Toxic as in can and will cause damage to your liver. So no. You can’t take expired vitamins and get any health benefits! You risk your health. I’ve had long conversations with the Doctors I’ve worked with.
Otc drugs are good two years after expiration as long as they're kept in good temperature
Rain X water repellant can be used on the bathroom window as a defogger.
I bet the chemicals are good for lungs.
Just FYI peppermint and sage are great bug deterrents. We live on a ranch in the country and I use peppermint spray as well as sage incense to rid our barn and house of insects and mice. It really works well and it's all natural, much better for the environment. 👍
Great thought. Just not sure if other ingrediants . If pure pure olive with or without water, could be a good deterrent or at least air freshener

The beauty sponges work great for blending paints on canvas. They can also create texture.

I mostly buy doggy toys for my dog. He tends to rip his toys apart. But with dollar tree doggy toys, I don’t mind since the toys are only $1.25. Loved your video Matt.
My dog aims to destroy every toy he can get his mouth on. Just gave him a new one yesterday & he tore it up in under an hour.

Dog owners please be careful as I have know of some dogs that have eaten some of the insides of the dog toys. After an extremely expensive surgery the dog died.
You shop in the nicest Dollar Tree I have ever seen.
Yes, I went in mine yesterday and , as usual, it was totally trashed. One employee was working hard to get it together but it was a daunting task.

Always fun, never boring! Plus, the added bonus of unexpected Dad jokes! I'm intrigued by that mysterious peppermint sage thingy--maybe my store will have it. Old calendars are good for some nice scenic pictures that could be used for décor or crafts.
Haven’t seen that cleaner at my DT yet, but my store had a dish washing soap in the same design bottle and that scent. I like the scent.
Matt, I always take along a nightlight when I travel - I don’t like stumbling around in the dark when I get up in the middle of the night and I don’t want to turn on the bathroom light. And if I forget it when I check out, it was only a buck+.

That 3 section condiment carrier could be used to corral kids markers or crayons for outdoors too!
For that “All purpose” spray, keep in mind anything peppermint scented. #1 - Peppermint scent keeps away many bugs and rodents, however if you have pets, it can be toxic.

Matt, the mini finger makeup sponges are for getting under your lower lashes or other small areas
I trimmed the bubble bath mat and use it in my sink as a kitchen sink mat to protect my more fragile dishes.
All Stores sell even the most basic of sink mats for ten bucks and up, and I'm just not about that price point, for a piece of flat rubber/ plastic.. 🤷🏽♀️
Pro tip: if you do decide to use the bubble mat for the kitchen sink as I did, remove it when you have to dump things that stain, such as pasta sauce, as it will give your mat a funky orange red tint that no amount of scrubbing will remove.. trust me lol
simply cut out a circle for the drain, and trim to size which was super fast and easy, and voila! $1.25 sink mat!

The Rain X spray is also great to use on a shower glass (if you have one). Makes clean-up so much easier and only need to re-apply spray once or twice a month depending on whether you have soft or hard water.

I use cut up sponges with peppermint oil on them for my car and camper to keep mice out. Works great!

Matt! You mentioned using the makeup brush holder for paintbrushes and I just want to say that you’re spot on- painters store their brushes to dry upside down (once cleaned) so that there’s no excess moisture buildup AND so that they maintain their natural shape! If dried while lying on a tabletop, they tend to flatten, fray, and take much longer to be usable again. Art-branded paintbrush mounts can be crazy expensive, so this is a STEAL for any starving artists!!!
Using a pool noodle works too, and you can cut a slit on the bottom so it will rest on the edge of a bowl or bucket and several slits along the inside-facing edge to slip the brush handles into so they will dripdry into said bowl/bucket. Same concept but can accommodate more brushes and will attach to any container with an edge.

Wow thank you for showing the Amazon exact item pricing. DT is really stepping up on name brand items. Love the vitamins that Walgreens sells too for about ten dollars. The apple cider vinegar gummies I saw too. Running to get the Cuisinart SS spoon rest. I wish my 3 DT had freezer sections. Only 1 and never has anything close to what you show. Keeps these top ten videos coming, got them on all notifications.
Note: DO NOT wash any plastic bottles from DT in dishwasher... Found out the hard way. 🤦🏼♀️

I was diagnosed seven years ago with a rare and incurable disease. I remember going on YTube land because I was so sick at the time and I couldn't be around people. @Mad Mac you were one of the few who stayed connected here. Fast forward to now and I am still alive. If I had listened to some of my doctors, I think I would have given up my "HOPE". It's finding your balance as you go through this. I've fired a few doctors and found some good ones. Keep doing these clips because it's good to see you have that "Hope". It's overwhelming and not much fun feeling sick. Many prayers! Much healing love! F**k cancer!

I have a similar basket and it is so convenient for corralling stuff to go to the car. Also great for carrying to-go orders safely!
Vivian Tries suggested using that makeup brush holder on the side of your fridge to hold keys and stuff. I imagine it would also hold many colors of dry erase markers on a whiteboard.
Those supports aren't particularly strong, but they do last a long time, even with machine washing.
I used one of those flexible baskets to help wash swimsuits. I put them inside a bigger, solid bucket, add the suits, detergent, water, then grab the handles and swish it around. To rinse, just pull the basket out and hold under the faucet. A lot gentler than machine washing.

I have people complain still about dollar tree raising their prices, but I constantly tell them how much the quality has improved.
I’m glad you touched on the vitamin deals, Matt. I got some Goli vitamin and supplements at dollar tree recently and I like the fact I could try them without the big store prices(they’re amazing btw-I got the calm supplements, the greens supplement, and their multi vitamin- delish!) as someone who takes a bunch of vitamins bc of gastric bypass, I appreciate the wallet getting heavier from the savings😂❤

FYI a lot of crafters shop in DT's makeup section. Yes, the brush holder is great for paintbrushes. The makeup sponges and brushes are great for blending inks, paints, etc. too.

FYI: The flyswatters are flimsy. They maim the flies but don't kill them, and that's if you're lucky. Usually they don't even phase them.
so thank you for pointing out the RIDICULOUS prices that some people put on these dollar tree deals on the resale market! And yes...people go to Dollar Tree, buy a bunch of stuff, then mark up the price amd sell on Amazon, Walmart & at swap meets all over this country. I once saw a 6 pack of ZERO SUGAR Grape Crush on Walmart market for $12.00! and yes sometimes people will pay ridiculous amounts of money for simple cheap things.

Great video! Another idea in reference to the 12-minute 55-second mark are the mesh laundry bags or a lighter objects. They will knock out the sand, dirt, whatever and help things dry quicker

My husband bought the Rain-X windshield wipers for me several months ago - yep, they aren’t cheap! I love them and I don’t have to keep spraying anything on my windshield when it rains.

Same here, but there's a good reason for it. My nearest Dollar Tree is four miles away, while my mom is just over 900 miles away!
O love all of the lights, the cleaning putty is great. The Vitamins are also a great price. I don't use them but I can sure give them out to the needy. I would use the snack bags, The utensil caddy I would use for my makeup brushes. The Rain x is great for glass shower doors, I use it. The eggo waffles are a good price too. The tall baskets are a great deal too. I use a lot of the ice packs for my son's lunch bucket. The windshield fluid is a great price. The bubble mats are great no sliding around. I even use the outside while watering plants so I don't slip.. Matt you out did yourself on this shopping spree. I love all the items you have shown us. Thank you for taking all the work out of shopping for all of us. You are the Best...We all love you and God Bless you and Your Beautiful Family....
People, be aware the sticky spider and insect traps are cruel. They also catch good creatures like lizards and geckos.
Thank you! I was going to say something, I am so happy you did. Yes, they are creepy crawlies, but that doesn't mean they should have to suffer. Not to mention, as you said, any other small critters get stuck on there as well. Pretty horrific death for them.

That All-Purpose cleaner in the black bottle works great, and it smells good, I recommend it. They also have the dish soap version as well.

I am currently trying the black bottle of cleaner. I was looking for something without the strong chemical smell to do light counter/interior car cleaning. I have no complaints nor do I have any praises - lol. Maybe a bottle with water and essential oils would do the same thing. But here we are.

The flyswatter with the flower is better made than the higher priced ones. Some good food options are the Mexican rice and refried beans. Both come in microwaveable pouches and only take 90 seconds to heat up.
The all purpose peppermint sage cleaner is amazing! It smells soo good, the natural scents are great for repelling insects and it works really well!
Rain-X is good for glass shower walls & doors, too!

The best thing I found at Dollar Tree this past month was in the kids toy section. They have these remote control cars. It's remote somewhat while making donut turns randomly, which is what they are being sold as in the description
The finger sponge for makeup is for gently pulling the skin to put on eyeliner, for little fixes or smoothing out creased makeup and things like that. You don't use it to apply makeup but more for not messing up your foundation when you have to touch your face to do something,
We still buy Tony's at Walmart! I'm excited we finally got plus sections in my area in the last two weeks!

I have seen the Centrum and Emergen-C vitamins in Dollar Tree, and even some bottles of Goli super greens vitamins. Just make sure you check the dates. The Goli ones were expiring the next month (and didn't look the best in the bottle) but the Emergen-C ones were good for a little over a year. Just be aware when buying :) They're there for a reason lol

The thermal bags and the ice packs are great for grocery shopping in the summer. I don't like the hard plastic ice packs I like the other ones better.
