Well, they're completely balanced now.

Its been my experience that lancers do better then knights dealing with archers you lose more lancers but kill the archers fast because of the 1 range it feels like they do better than when i try with knights but i could be completely wrong
lancers are better than knights vs archers because idiots that do the game havent seen yet that the kts have stupid behaviour and stuck between them when u patrol them, and idiots that have the archers "hit and run" believing are the kings of micromanagement when in reality are taking advantage to something that for me is one of the bugs of the game

If you assume forward archer ranges, why go stable instead of your own range for skirms? Range advantage too much?
Feudal skirms are useless vs xbow, especially Britons xbow. Additionally, it would have been impossible to do any damage or snipe reinforcements. Besides, even if you could somehow defend vs xbow with skirms, the mangonels would be impossible to deal with.
Ok, this is a typical flaw. Never assume you are playing against an army... you are playing against an economy. If you create skirms the other player economy booms on the other end of the map and you loose any advantage.
The archers were not causing too much trouble... just a hindrance. So you cause trouble in their economy. If you win against the army, you are left with... a bunch of skirms ... which cannot hasstle their economy, and you just need a treb to kill all.
Pretty sure if dogao added pikes before it would have been harder to stop.
If this works it's pretty much only because it's viper doing it.
