The thing about Eversoul is, it has everything perfect except gameplay. I'd like to make a comparison. You get Nikke and Zold Out which both has amazing and interesting gameplay but super shitty devs, while Eversoul, while having super shit gameplay, has an amazing group of developers. For one, they actually listen to their playerbase and implement fixes real fast, and foremost, keep pumping QoL which helps the players insanely that you wish other gacha had this shit(yes, Nikke had synchronization, same as Eversoul but does Nikke allow you to synchronize every single SSR in the game? No, but Eversoul does, you can get everyone and synchronize everyone because of the gems they fucking pump, FOR FREE!)
Devs who are in tune with their fans will go a long way imo. It's the reason why I'm still playing azur lane while I've gone on and off with genshin. Im planning to take a break from genshin when higan comes out
I have downloaded this game a week ago, but this is one of those games that make me ask myself why I'm playing. Am I playing just to build these characters? Like, this is one of my least favorite parts of games like Genshin or Pokemon. The story also didn't captivate me. I like the quality for the character models, but I can't really see them in action because of the camera. The premade animations are nice, but since it's not really interactive (you touch a button to see the animation), I really don't see much reason to play the game. Maybe I'm being too harsh, but I'm not a mobile gamer, and I feel that I was expecting something that could give me something more to do in the coreloop of the game. I remember trying, for example, to see if i could make everyone target one single enemy or something like that, but it seems that the only interaction in combat was just "press this button to use skill/ultimate".
@@kalaaw I think it’s about AFK games that barely require any input from the players during combat. So he asked himself why he’s playing. And probably what is considered as “play” in AFK games anyway? Gacha doesn’t have anything to do with it.
@@peterphanuwat5397 he mentioned Genshin as an example of game he doesn't like, which is NOT an AFK game. His main complain is about the objective of most of you activities in the game, which is building you characters, and also the lack of interaction between the player and the combat. The later of course can be attributed specifically into AFK or idle games, but the former is obviously the core characteristic of gacha games. Because the reason people play gacha games over something like MMO is because the want to use lots of different characters and/or collect various waifus and husbandos. So consequently, you spend of you time in character building, so you can clear contents and get the rewards needed to do gacha, get new characters, rinse and repeat. That's what the commenter doesn't like, and it applies to all gacha games, not just AFK ones. Hence he included Genshin as an example, which obviously is NOT and AFK game. Moreover, if you look at his expectation toward "interactive gameplay", it clearly goes way beyond just AFK games. If you played enough gacha games, you should know that Eversoul is at the more interactive and dynamic side gameplay wise. Some only let you tap one or two button in manual and doesn't even have formation and positioning aspect. And most of them are 2D, so they have half the complexity with one less axis. Something like E7 and Summoners War may have more controllability because you can chose target just like the commenter wanted, but they're turn-based so it removes the dynamic aspect. You don't need to compare Eversoul with something like Memento Mori to know that it's far from "boring" as a gacha game. At that point, the only gacha games that could satisfy him in terms of gameplay might only be action RPG ones like Genshin and ToF. And, in case you forgot or doesn't read his comment thoroughly, he doesn't even like Genshin because it makes him question "am I playing this game just to build characters?". Well, that's what a gacha game is about. Maybe something like Call of Duty or Assassin Creed is more his cup of a tea. So no, it's not just about AFK games

I love Genshin and Pokemon, but I like to do other things besides min maxing their stats. Also, about the collecting characters that I like, that is true, this is something really appealing in Genshin, but each character has its own gameplay. For example, I love Yae Miko as a character, but I don't like her gameplay, so I didn't get her. I like Klee's character and I like her gameplay, even if she's "weak". I like Heizou's gameplay but I'm indifferent about his character, and I play with him a lot. The same goes for other games (that aren't gacha and/or afk) such as Pokemon or Splatoon. Voice English?
Well, did they tell you to highlight the technical issues the game has since its release like a constant blackscreen on several devices? If the devs can't fix a gamebreaking "known issue" how much fate should I have that this game will be good?
So they do not do everything right - they do not fix their game.
Hi iwin

Potato
Are there any male characters or no?
I really like the format and might check out the game, but please don't title a sponsored post as a "review" I really think it's a little scummy to do a "review" for money. I think calling it a showcase would be better
Another turn based game to skip
Yay another crappy game with beautiful animations to spend money on...break the cycle
Thanks but no thanks. Already skipping Honkai bc of the 'only waifus' strats they have
No men, no point.
we need an all men gacha game😔

Don't get me wrong, I like girls. But a guy-preferenced bisexual as myself is gonna need some dudes up in there for me to play the game lol.
Also I just spent 300 dollars for c1 r1 Alhaitham so :/

GG no thanks Nikke is the only game that managed to have me play a waifu only game
Honestly same. I saw him call it a waifu collector and immediately turned off the video - there's plenty of waifu in the world, I want myself a husbando.
"No HoT HuSbAnDo 😡🤬" 😂

Wait this game is more than just a black screen?
Where are the husbandos
I hoping for husbando
But do they have husbandos?
