We bought ours this year (January 2021) and so far love pretty much ever facet of this machine. We're seeing gains in only the first couple of weeks. Money well invested!
I went to the fitness store today and after handling this machine I made the decision to buy it. It is so smooth and yet so sturdy. After doing several exercises on it, I realized that it was a very well engineered piece of equipment that would benefit anyone. It is like magic. I set it up for delivery and I can't wait to have it set up in my garage. I won't need to go to the gym ever again because this machine does everything all in one place.
Great video.... I am 57 and just getting back into fitness....was pretty hard core from ages 20 to 47...been out of it for 10 years..back issues and joints here and there....so i was gonna order this FT2 but decided to go with the INSPIRE M3 GYM with leg press attachment... and a SPIRIT CU800 upright bike...interested in this bench too with preacher attachment and maybe some power blocks.......if all goes well i will add the FT1 or FT2... my plan is to get in as good of shape by age 60 as possible....gives me 3 years....thx again for your videos.....gives me hope and motivation.....cheers from Canada
Just bought this and self assembled at home (October 2021) in New Zealand. Really enjoyed the assembly and the first few workouts. Very smooth and well engineered. Looking forward to really getting into it 👊
For the people thinking of getting one, the only thing that sucks is the SQUAT BAR.... you have to go down, lock in place, then start your squat, when you finish your reps, you have to go back down, lock the bar in the locking mechanism, and bright it back up, lock it in place, then you step out... it kills your workout, specially if you train to failure, you really need to leave some energy for the end to be able to go down, lock, bring up, blah blah blah... I am not used to it, I would get the other machine(SCS SMITH CAGE SYSTEM) with the same cables but the squat bar is more of a traditional smith machine, uses free weights but no annoying locking mechanism, TRY DOING A SQUAT ON BOTH OF THESE BEFORE YOU BUY..... you'll see what I mean...both machines are the same price, yea the FT2 looks prettier but just do a squat and you'll see lol
Hi Khalid, if you're looking to use the leg extension/curl attachment, you'll need the leg conversion kit in order to connect the leg extension to the weight stack system. This video is helpful - thank you. I have noticed, though, that you only have two lower body exercises here. Are you able to recommend somewhere to go to get a video of a good 20 min lower body workout on this specific equipment? Is there a way to do a leg press with the FT2?
Yes, it's possible to do leg press on this. It's actually very good for it, b/c you can use the weight doubler on this machine and can press up to 420 lb. You basically lie on the ground and press your feet against the red bar. The red bar has to be set just high enough so you can get your feet under it, but low enough so that you get full range of motion during the lowering part of the press.
@@billberglund6622 You probably figured this out long ago, so I'm answering in case someone else has the same questions. 1) You can upgrade from 150 to 200. 2) Using the "weight multiplier" increases the weight. It's not technically 2x, but it's about 1.5x. (The "weight multiplier" is a standard design element in the FT2; no extra equipment needed.)
@@InspireFitnessCA I just purchased the FT2 and asked the installer about this. He recommended another standalone product, for which I don't have room in my garage. It would be great if Inspire Fitness would design a leg-press attachment for the FT2. I would definitely buy it. Right now, I simply lay on the ground and use the smith-machine bar.
Just had mine delivered and it’s perfect - just what you need - wow it has everything and trust me people great investment as you are investing in your body - has it fitted too as it’s better to pay that not extra and get piece of mind

Can you also do a proper traditional lat pulldown with the long bar?
At the very end he is doing curls on that multi bench. Do you have the make / model number of it with all of the accessories on it?
On the military press, he is facing inward. Is this just to show variation? Does bench spacing allow the same exercise to be performed facing outward?
You should start seeing them at your local Inspire Fitness dealers in December of this year.
I have the FT2 and it’s an awesome machine but I don’t have the bench ..will the extra cables come with the bench if I order it?

How do you get the weight to 420 lbs? I’ve just bought the FT2-it’s being delivered next week. There’s only 150lbs on each side.

Do you still use your FT2?
How is it holding up?
