I kinda hope someone mods in a different battle mode focused more on tagging as many spots as you can in the time limit. It would interesting since not only would the lines you'd travel probably be different but if whoever made the mod took into account how you can spray over each other's graffiti they could implement a point stealing system so it's more of a tug of war. Also I think making certain heaven spots that are harder and more time consuming to get to give double or triple the usual points would make for a cool risk and reward system as well.
the fun of it (imo) comes from finding different routes to see how to get the most amount of multiplier in the quickest amount of time. the control may be simple, but you are severely underestimating the power of "number go up" satisfaction.

Yes but it’s very rarely worth it. Lot of time spent going through the cutscene that could be spent getting multipliers.
