There was a short piece on local radio, about the war in Ukraine, this morning. The presenter had some Ukrainian people in studio with him, to promote the nearest event. It’s actually not happening until Sunday, about an hour’s drive from me. But, for whatever reason, the presenter didn’t do his homework and he tried to talk about negotiations, with the Ukrainian people beside him. To their credit, they remained calm and tried to explain why that won’t work. I was fit to throw the radio out the window, because this presenter is usually one of our best and his show is dedicated to current affairs. He had no excuse for being so ignorant of the facts.

It seems Ukrainian and Russian agricultural produce is entering Poland judging from price drop near the border. Polish farmers however must adhere to EU standards and their costs are higher.
Still the farmers need to approach both the Polish govt and EU for fixing issues.
i thought it was most likely Farmers being Farmers, that is to say 'compromised by pecuniary interests and just being typical and greedy. Farmers everywhere act like they are a law unto themselves.
