Good video Connor. I have been wondering about multi haul. After seeing you being safety orientated and pull out the high stick. I can see your the guy to answer those questions. Looking forward to your content.
Thanks for the kind words! I do my best to teach and maybe even be entertaining at times! I will forever say this is the best job in the world and it's fun to share it with yall! If you ever see me out and about be sure to say hi
Connor, another great video!! Especially enjoyed the unloading of that stubborn Buick! Fascinating! Yes always best to stay positive, hopefully your carrier can hook you up with some of the auto auctions which seem to do well during the RV slowdown. Glad you got back north before Helene. Nasty situations in FL, Ga, and the Carolinas! Be safe!!
@harrydaniels7994 Thanks Harry! My carrier is very hands off at times like these and I kinda prefer that. This week I have a handful of loads lined up myself of new Ford trucks for some short hauls close to home. You're never truly out of work if you have a truck & trailer and the right motivation!
The short answer is no, but sometimes yes. Generally, carriers want to keep their driveaway freight for the driveraway drivers. In addition, many units would be too tall to haul on anything other than a lowboy. But once in a while, it happens. I'm actually taking 2 trailer loads (4 driveaway units) this week up to Wisconsin, and it'll probably be out in the weekly video next week
@motozaye Sooner than later might be good. I may or may not have called Synergy about coming over to yall and they said they had a few mutli guys in orientation yesterday and that they may only have 1 or 2 trailers left.
@SweatAndFaithTruckingTV Yes you definitely are! I recognize the yards in your Short lol! My email is crossbucktransport@gmail.com if you ever wanna chat it's probably easier to start there instead of back and forth in the comments section
@richstrang4184 neither one. I'll do everything in my power to not go back to Indiana Transport. And while I hear Horizon drivers are generally happy, some have cautioned me away. And any company that wants me to pay for orientation for them doesn't need me that badly as a driver. In my video about leasing on with a carrier, I discuss that I don't intent to share who I'm leased on to. It's a personal preference, and I've not shared any former employers on any form of social media before.

Can you book 2 driva aways and load them on trailer?

@@CrossbuckRVTransport that would be terrible to do that switch and not get a trailer 🤣🤣🤣
@motozaye no kidding lol. I'm not doing you any favors. Jeremy is putting one on hold for me for next week
Hey I’m with the same carrier you with and will love to chat
