Every time I listen to this song, I get teary eyed. I still haven't recovered from Enderal's ending. This game was amazing and I'm so glad I played it. If you haven't looked into it yet, do so. You won't regret it. Walk blessed.
@@avryantoinette same! First time I've played Enderal I wanted to finish main quest quickly. Not only because I was curious about the ending, but also because I wanted to get saving this well-built world off my chest and then do side quests in peace. This order didn't really work out lmao
This mod is the best game I have ever played, and most likely ever will play. It grabbed me by the soul. Tears ran down my face as I sat next to Calia on top of the world, realising it was over. Such a beatiful game
So I just realized about this piece: It's a cycle. It begins slowly, builds up into a moment of "discovery" when it grows, then it becomes intense and, in the end, it ends as slowly as it began. Just as the Cleansing.
This is by far the best game I've played all year, I don't get why so few people have played it, around the world millions of people play Skyrim on the PC yet Enderal has less than 200,000 downloads on Nexus, what the hell is going on Enderal is better than Skyrim and that's saying something because Skyrim is a great game, I just don't get it.
Can't do anything but completly agree. The story had me mindblown almost all the way since it really starts going once you arrive at Ark. Defo the best RPG I ever played by a large margin.
The majority of people downloaded it from our official website, and there are other sources, so it should be around 800k until now, that's not too bad. But I think it still shows that we don't have professional marketing like major studios do. All we have is word of mouth. By the way, very glad you all liked the game! :)
Man It was a great game. I feel that the looming ending really added to it, half way trough the game I realized, and I assume most others did as well, that you weredbeing the instrument of your own destruction so I was really struggling to keep playing but that really added to the game and gave me a much better connection to the world and character I was playing, I was a high one.
***** No I meant the planned DLC by SureAI. Im very aware that this is a mod. But SureAI plans to announce a "DLC" for Enderal with all the content they had to cut out.
This is a Awesome game ( *contains spoilers* ) my one complaint is that they made the events to have the clensing come were pushed to hard I mean there are multiple ways they could have a good ending #1 use the word of the dead on lishari #2 a retorics check on ysran or telor to have ysran kill telor in the high ones mind or when they get out and leave telor out of it and say he died to the rock falling when the dragon hit the rocks with the fire then have you and ysran take the niomios back I mean ysran wants him to die a broken man so that #3 if the meditation talent Does in fact move your body to the place you could wait out the explosion and come back after
so, what i picture when i listen to this song is *SPOILERS* The prophet standing before the beacon during the cleansing . realising the gravity of the choice they have to make. wondering if humanity will really win with this second chance, will it really make a difference? Then, as the music picks up. the prophet realises that that is irrelevant. what the prophet is giving humanity is a chance to play the game right. to be aware of the rules. a chance to continue living. to feel the love, joy and sorrow that they have felt on their journey to this point and have a happier ending. As the music reaches its height the Prophet begins to destroy the beacon, wildly exclaiming all of the beautiful and terrible things that make the world what it is and what makes it worth living in. why humanity WILL get it right this time. Finally, as the music slows and the beacon explodes, the prophet, now weakened and deformed by the cleansing, gets slowly consumed by the blast. but they have a smile on their face, with their last thoughts being "this is my gift to you humanity, dont waste it"
"Now it's up to us"

Enderal was beyond beautiful...days later I'm still thinking about the ending...I wish I could Obliviate myself just so I can experience it again.
Veilfire Indeed! I cried when I finished and mostly because I knew I could never experience it again the same way as the first playthrough :(

Just as the Cleansing.
Wow that is actually a really interesting thought
Please put a spoiler alert at the beginning of your comment, thanks.
yea they have terms in music for that kind of evolution in a music piece, this song does them very well
certainly left a hole that wont be filled ever. kinda bittersweet pain it is.

Can it be that some people download it through torrent?
thats what i did
Agree, after finishing the game i felt empty inside, like you do, when a book or game really hits you hard.

I cry A LOT
Enderal isn't a game, it's an experience.
I could listen to this song all day
Truth
ikr. honestly the best instrumental ost I have heard in ages!
00:42 breaks my heart every time I hear it.. 1:09 gives me chills. I love this so much
Sounds like a proffesional game soundtrack !
because it is a professional game. actually more professional than a lot of other games
Yes!
Wonderful story, wonderful world, wonderful music. My sincere admiration to the creators.
I keep crying everytime i am hearing this
One of the best games and well written experiences ever. Why is this not more well known than Skyrim yet
i wish i could forget everything about this game so i could do it again and again ...
It definitely has the ''end of a story'' vibe to it.
I played Enderal the same month I graduated and of the two ive got to say that playing Enderal was the more significant experience for me.
A child's shadow burnt into the brickwork... A house of skulls in the jungle...
The ending made me cry...
The best ending i've ever seen in a videogame.
Wow this soundtrack is amazing! :)
truly amazing.

@@harrydawson2171 no he isnt, i on the other hand.
Weirdly get super emotional when hearing this soundtrack..
Man I really hope they make that DLC... Such a great game!
they did, in august and it's not a dlc, it's a total conversion mod

Jonas Wichmann Fair enough
That moment when an awesome mod for an awesome game has a DLC. A DLC for a MOD! I love Enderal, it's so good.
Hope you read this: the dlc should be launched soon on steam.
best mod ever
Enderal still is the best open world RPG i've played
I frieking loved this mod/game
And now it's up to us 😭
Man.. still waiting for the time when I will be emotionally ready to replay Enderal... it is rough
magnifique musique franchement une des meilleurs que j'ai entendu ces dernières années
the prophet sings true....i think enderal was better than dragonborn and dawngaurd..
Rudy Evol Whither art thou bound, Sa'ira? This be not the right path!
Better than skyrim itself man...
This was far superior to Skyrim in almost every way
blazes
Tbh this is on the same level the Elder Scrolls Main theme
Really great!
3 best fuckng plot twist in my life:
1_Old Boy
2_Final Fantasy X
2_Enderal
Rhalâta'Shera
Danke Tada!
