@shahnaz if you look at aws.amazon.com/sagemaker/pricing, you're only charged per hour of sagemaker-studio-notebook-ec2 instance usage. So adding user accounts doesn't add charges per se. If you're doing something like adding a notebook instance per user, then yes, you're adding notebook instances and your costs will increase.
🤣🤣🤣 WOW, it's like we've time-travelled back 3 years! Watching this AWS onboarding tutorial feels like opening a digital time capsule. I half expect to see fidget spinners and people dabbing in the background! 🕰💃 It seems I've joined an elite squad of time-travellers, though! A quick glance at the comments shows that there's a bunch of us pointing out the charming antiquity of this version. A lovely reminder that in the tech world, time flies when you're having fun... or when you're trying to keep up with software updates! 🚀 In all seriousness, I understand how tough it is to keep up with every new version. It's like playing Whack-A-Mole with software updates. But hey, there's a silver lining. This is an extra challenge: to apply the concepts from this tutorial to the latest version of the product. For fun, I've just crunched some numbers, twiddled some thumbs, and - based on my very scientific analysis - I predict a 60% chance that this comment, along with our time capsule of a tutorial, will remain as it is for the next 3 months. Can't wait to see if my forecast hits the mark! 🎯 Keep up the good work, AWS. We're enjoying the journey, no matter what version we're on! 🌈 #TimeTravelWithAWS #VersionMismatchFunClub
"Execution Role for all users" but "one domain per account"?!! Am I missing something? Most companies have strict access controls at the org level. So the only option is to disable all notebook sharing. Pretty confusing
leave it to amazon to make something simple complicated. surely a lot of this stuff could have been abstracted away for those who are only interested in using machine learning without having to master identity management!!! or learn all these unnecessary jargon. we know you are smart but don't invent unnecessary jargon so you can gatekeep.
Totally agree. And the worst part is, the AWS web UI for domain creation has been keeping changing in the past 3 years. Now the UI is already completely different from what this video is showing.
Is sagemaker only used for machine learning? Can I run any other notebook not used for machine learning purposes?
Does having user accounts in SageMaker Studio add any charge? Please advise and thanks.

Seamless. lol.
It's kind of like buy a new car and having the car dealer give you 25 keys to the car.
