    This a great museum for viewing these bikes. If you want to hear and see bikes like these actually run, go to Wheels Through Time in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. Dale Walksler and his staff, will start any bike in the museum. If you ask them. They will also tell you the history of the machines. Both places are equally cool.

    I've made it to the Museum 5 years in a row in mid Oct. taking the SS Badger from Michigan. I always learn something new and appreciate that they rotate new displays every year to keep it interesting. Great place to spend a good 5 hrs. Nice restaurant right there too.

    I just had my 15K mile service done today. It’s only 7 months and 10 days old. I truly love my HD Limited. I cannot imagine anything being better. I could spend most of my life on this as it is.

    Visited the H.D museum in 2012. I havnt any regrets. Stayed at a motel down from the museum. It was awesome also but kind of pricey.

    Thumbs-Up #52 I am, Friday early afternoon 25 October 2019! Here’s to hoping eventually that they explain how Harley-Davidson Motor Company decided on orange black and white for their race team colors. I came to love Scott Parker’s race track look.

    Why they quit making that mini bike is a mystery. Sell one to the parent...and sell one to the parent for the kid. Get them used to the brand. Build brand loyalty early.

    is the 883 more relaiabale than the the 1200?

    • @slit4659
      @slit4659 4 года назад

      Frankie the Fin......I had Both a 69 XLCH Sportster Kicker only no Battery it had a Mag 883 cc they called them 900 cc.....And I had a 1974 FXE Super Glide 74" Shovel 1200 cc Kicker and ELEC....The Sportster was a Bitch to Start sometimes if you didn't get it in the First 2 Kicks.....I liked my Shovel better and I really didn't have to many problems with either one of them.....I now have a 07 Street glide with 62 Thousand...I made it a 103" from 96"...585 SS cams and raised the Compression to 10.5...It has a Thundermax Tuner....... Not many Problems on either of these 3 Bikes..... Now the BIG BIKE SECRET....The Oil....I've ALWAYS RUN HARLEY OIL.....I THINK 50 Weight in the first 2 and 20/50 in my Street glide ....I think....I'd go look but it's 23 Degrees out....But regular Harley Oil....NO SYNTHETIC.

      they are equally reliable. Very little difference between 883 and 1200 in terms of reliability. The 1200 other than obvious larger displacement, also has higher compression ratio, and much better flowing heads
