I had spatzle for dinner tonight, before I saw this video. I got a package of dry spatzle from the German market today and made a mushroom gravy.

that was quick! i REALLY like the idea of the spinach spätzle! i'm thinking even with just a little wurst, maybe some grated parm - i can never leave well enough alone, who knows? i think i could do some interesting things with that. for sure on my to do list.

Hm. I used 300g of spinach this much basil would be too intense in taste. But fell free to use few leaves as a seasoning - this should work.

I'd use chicken liver instead of gizzards.
