You know what I love most about the Orks? Their slang, and the fact that the other factions use it to describe their units unironically. I cannot take an Imperial briefing seriously, because it just becomes comedic the second someone says “Mekboys” or “Deffbomba” in perfect english.
Absolutely. Think of Dawn of War, when Angelos says, in all sincerity, "THAT is a KILLA KAN!" I like the scene in "Brothers of the Snake" where one Battle Brother mentions the current threat of an Ork "waaagh" and the Librarian chides him for saying it wrong and "WAAAAAGHS!" properly.
At this point here, this cadian division will move to engage this WAAAAAAGGGHH. One company of dark angels will move here to attack the KILLA KANS and mekboys. Is that clear?

There is one problem with that logic. Their need for war like we need air means that they will always turn on themselves as soon as they don't have anyone else to fight. Their ability to truly dominate the galaxy is hamstringed by this very fact. Imagine if they retained everything that makes them Orks but actually knew how to focus on the non-combat aspects when there are no non-Orks to fight. They'd probably be unstoppable.
This is just it though - the Orks do not really want to dominate, they would like nothing more than a galaxy filled with endless war and a vast array of enemies to fight. And thats what they have. Truly, the Orks have already won.

I love this as it makes me picture the way the fractions travel through space. The technologically advanced races intentionally aim for a planet, tyranids just slowly creep in space until they hunt something near. Orks just aimlessly fly through space with massive unstable rockets while screaming at the top of their lungs. They just happen to turn up.
It's even funnier because they don't have any advanced control; Most ork space ships have a single, centralized red button for ALL of the thrusters and ALL of the drives in the ship.
