Angelina Jordan Astar is a perfectionist in whatever she does, there’s a video on RUclips where she’s 5 years old and showing her dolls in her playroom and singing however what got me was when she got done with a toy she had a place for it and after showing it put in the same place, from there she proceeds to show you her bedroom and her two closets with her dresses, the point being even at 5 for her everything had a place. Fast forward to this video did you notice the hair and dress both are depicting the era in what she’s singing she does this in a lot of her performances, it’s almost like she’s channeling some sort of energy. I don’t know maybe her grandmother who not only a poet and artist has a masters in psychology might have something to do with it.

Fast forward to this video did you notice the hair and dress both are depicting the era in what she’s singing she does this in a lot of her performances, it’s almost like she’s channeling some sort of energy. I don’t know maybe her grandmother who not only a poet and artist has a masters in psychology might have something to do with it.

Great reaction to a great cover! The song is OK. I mean it's not one of the greatest song of this era but it was interpreted by Sinatra which helps a lot. And now by our barefoot Princess. You are right this song is the perfect song to demonstrate her lower register. She is so smooth and her phrasing is impeccable. AJ is more than a voice she is a complete artist. Like you said she has an incredible ear to catch and understand the nuances. But AJ's greatest quality for me is that she never "oversing" . She always respect the original in her own ways. She is gifted!!

There is something about every cover AJ does, they always sound much better than you have ever experienced them in the past. It is more than remarkable; it is astonishing how she affects one's innermost being by drawing you in and holding you as you anticipate each heartwarming phrase. I grew up with Sinatra's music in the early 50s and on, and he sat the standard for the ultimate storyteller. About 2 years ago I stumbled across Angelina Jordan on the AGT Show, at the age of 13, and she has raised the bar that I did not think could ever be moved higher.
Her low range is amazing, you have to keep telling yourself that this is a 13-year-old girl at this performance. This reminds me of Nate King Cole ability to make every song sound velvet. AJ is the greatest Storytelling ARTIST, and she has the ability to take us by the hand and lead us down an imaginary path that we visualize as reality

Absolutely right, I said that a long time ago .Angelina is the first human Juke Box. No one can top diversity , and not many can compete with her command of diverse genre's of musical styles even at her ages of 9 years and up.

Sir, look at her neck, it is a little, very little longer, than usual, her larynx is also a tiny bit bigger, her voice deeper and her body resonates with her voice.
