I didn't see one single body covered in tattoos and piercings, and I'm delighted to learn that that still is something we can enjoy. I also noticed that people were quiet, with no obnoxious people yelling at the top of their lungs, like in downtown Chicago at midnight or in LA or San Francisco, NY, etc. Just civilized, well-behaved individuals who have been adequately educated on good manners and how to behave in public. NO rainbow BS everywhere, no one fighting, didn't see f*up druggies lying everywhere (think LA). We kicked out all the interventionists during the 4 years of the Civil War for preserving the achievements of the October Revolution, which was a response to the February Revolution, during which the Emperor abdicated the Russian throne. We remember that. We also remember how, after the Boston Tea Party, Britain strengthened sanctions and the trade blockade of the young 13 states. Then, by order of Empress Catherine the Great, the Russian Empire pursued a policy of "armed (military neutrality", sending its navy along with merchant ships to the shores of the young United States, who were fighting for their independence. The favorite drinks are beer and wine. I go to pubs, bars and clubs all the time and never see anyone drunk, but did in the 1990s when things were bad under US domination in the Yeltsin government. Americans do not understand the damage Washington did to the economy and living conditions of the Russian people. They are not going to allow the collective west to destroy their country again. Not the US is installing 15 new bases on the border of Russia just 90 miles from St Petersburg and those bases are US land so Finland can't even go near them without express permission which means the US is going to put nukes that are 5 minutes away from Moscow and 2 minutes from St Petersburg. Now I live in another country, and I remembered something that very much characterizes Russia and says a lot about the culture there and the people. In Russia, very often people come to the supermarket, and while they are walking and choosing goods, they can take what they need now. Drink or eat it and bring the empty container to the checkout. Where I live now, it’s hard for me to imagine something like this.

Russians don't drink vodka for "breakfast". It was a joke. Russians don't actually drink vodka that often. Wine or beer is more like it. The most beautiful city, and this country in the war ? America nights life all drugs addict and homeless all over ,

@soulkeeper7796 ..."The man was obviously drunk"... "Vodka in the morning" was an obvious sarcasm and mockery of primitive American stereotypes about Russia. Duh!
@@aeurospace Per capita Russians drink less than the EU average and 1/3rd that of Luxembourg. But it is an old myth that did briefly almost come true in the 1990s but as soon as the US advisers were removed from the Russian government the economy has been continuously growing and dropped to very low levels as soon as Russians were in charge again. Finland has invaded several times before but Russia will have pre-emptive rights as in the UN charter to defend itself and it is unlikely any part of Finland will survive. The president of Finland was very stupid to volunteer to be the newest vassal to be crushed by the US. This NATO countries are so badly governed and are so easily corrupted, letting the US control your existence is not smart. The US never has been an honest dealer.
Don't afraid of troubles in Moscow. Be relaxed and nice with people and you definitely won't get any troubles.

You can fly from Moscow to St. Petersburg in less than an hour by plane, I promise you'll like it.
To travel to St. Petersburg it is easier and more convenient to use the train. You sit in a comfortable chair for 4 hours and you are in the city center / you sleep at night on the train, and in the morning you have breakfast and get off the train to the city center - very convenient!

Now I live in another country, and I remembered something that very much characterizes Russia and says a lot about the culture there and the people. In Russia, very often people come to the supermarket, and while they are walking and choosing goods, they can take what they need now. Drink or eat it and bring the empty container to the checkout. This works especially well on a hot day, you come to the store with a feeling of wild thirst, go to the refrigerator, take ice cream or some cold drink, cool down, and then when you have a full basket, you pay along with everything. Where I live now, it’s hard for me to imagine something like this.
На этой неделе как раз так и сделала. Это по-прежнему работает
I completely agree with you, I do it myself sometimes. Especially in the summer in the heat - you run into the supermarket, grab a bottle of cold water or kvass, drink, and at the checkout you just punch an empty bottle and no one asks questions.
