The real hero here is the mother or grandmother: she baked the cookies, she made two packages, she dressed the child in the exact same neon yellow shirt like the garbagemen and she allowed her child/ grandchild to do this.

I was a garbage man for over 7 years and I never got so much as a hello or even a thank you from anybody, let alone biscuits. What a kind mother and child❤️
That’s sad man. Growing up our neighborhood block gave our garbage men all kinds of stuff during Christmas week. It was like a sick prank or something lol. They would get so much snacks it wasn’t even funny.
Yea, I got cold water and snacks a few times if we ran in the county. In the hood they would just run out of the house with a trash bag in their hand . Smh

You should've worked in the neighborhood I grew up in. Around Christmas time, the sanitation workers could get an easy $1000 "gratuity" from the residents of my block. I could only imagine what they accumulated throughout the neighborhood.

And you better know he went and brought that toy too! Pure heart from grandma because shes not even concerned about him picking him up. She appreciates them and teaching the grandson so many beautiful morals. Hes going to be and outstanding man with respect and care for all. It just warms my heart. Theres so many of us that just naturally love. Glad to be one and see one❤

My oldest grandson and I would be out there every week to see the trash truck and the very nice driver! He always took the time to talk to us. Then when he got to the end of the street, he’d blow the horn and wave as he pulled out and drove away. It was the highlight of my grandson’s day. It made wonderful memories for just the 2 of us, too.❤

As a 63 year old Man now , I can safely say that kid will never forget this experience and adventure & kindness of those people who made his day feel extra special. When I was a youngster about his age , we had Garbage men and street sweepers & powerline maintenance workers who would come through our subdivision neighborhood on regular basis and as I watched with eagerness these “ Hero’s” of my youth would wave & occasionally stop & take me & my friends to their trucks to show us how some things worked & let us maybe push a “ Magic button , or move a lever “ like in this video & bring the monster truck into action. I STILL REMEMBER almost every adventure to this very day now , and my 3 grandsons delight in the same experiences I had as a child also . Thanks for sharing this beautiful moment with us all. That’s the sweetest thing I’ve seen ever now he’s going to grow up and go out to all the grill out lol you did a wonderful job raising him thank you and maybe it will teach older people younger people in middle-age people. Lesson love comes even in the middle of your job.
