    I agree with the overpricing for a brand new cbr500r
    I am the 3rd owner of a 2013 Red cbr500r and got it for $5000.00 AUD recently and it had less than 6000kms on it so I'd consider it a good purchase
    Upgrading from a 2017 Honda125E Red
    Already looking at the z650 because I'm still getting used to the slight lean on the cbr500r

    Nice thorough review.
    I think the Ninja 650, the current Ninja 400 and,especially, the upcoming Ninja 500 are stiff competition for this bike, the Honda is heftier than the 400/500 which eats into the performance of what are not very powerful bikes.
    Looks, yes, I guess it's the one thing that can determine a purchase on it's own.
    Same story here in Greece, Hondas are expensive.
    I didn't say overpriced though probably should have because part of it is the name.
    But the other part has to be dealership support.
    Ultimately I have decided between either of the Kawas, roads are pretty bad where I live and they are a softer ride which is major.
    After the novelty wears off what you are left with is the streetability of the bike.
    But looks don't wear off, yes, they always matter, something that puts a smile on your face everyday when you see it matters.

    I think you nailed the review. It is what it is.. There are a ton of low mile Harleys for cheap, if you look around. A lot of garage queens with low miles. The new Honda ADV scooter will be a 160. The temps this week on the TX/OK border will be 101 and above. peace brother.

      Thank you!! I wanted to be as objective as possible! I would love to find a cheap low Mile Harley one day! I’m starting to see those videos pop up on the ADV160 they made some significant changes. As soon as I can access the Honda Website for the 160 I will do an overview! Stay cool and safe!! Happy 4th of July!! Peace Brother!! ✌🏾

    hi buddy, thx for the video as always. I'm just a Honda boy unless I find a Ducati deal then I will divorce Honda 🤣LOL, but yeah you know we talked on the past about buying brand new tag price bikes; they are super expensive because all the fees and charges that the dealer pass over the buyers. Maybe my next bike will be used but with very low miles just to prevent anything from the previous owner. Anyway bud, thx again and happy holiday weekend there. Be safe and bless

      Hey Brother! Yeah man Honda’s are great bike or automobiles! I wanted a Honda Prelude back in the 90s lol! Yeah man the dealer fees are insane! 20-30% is a lot when tax and warranties are factored in to the price!! Man those DUCATI’s are amazing machines!! Give me a S1000RR as my dream bike lol! I agree a slightly used bike may be a good choice! It’s just something about having a brand new bike I guess another factor is the length of time that you plan to keep it would help when determining new or used. Happy 4th of July weekend brother Stay Safe &Blesses my friend!! Thanks again for always watching!! ✌🏾

    Great vid I definitely agree its expensive lol it definitely should be 1.5 to 2k less but hey it is what it is but I like how you did the review 👍🏾👍🏾💯

      Thanks Bro! I wanted to take enough time to really get a feel for the bike before I did the review! It’s a dope bike!!! I rode the Ninja 400 yesterday and realized that out of the two the CBR500 was the right choice for me personally even with the premium! It’s a tweener and I think Honda positioned it strategically!!! 😂😂

    Will that slip on system still work on a 2022? Also love the vids

    • @Motahead7930
      @Motahead7930  2 года назад +1

      Hey Man! Thanks for watching!! I appreciate it Bro! Yes 2022 also has the slipper clutch! 2022 adds a bunch of small improvements! I would definitely go 2022 unless you can get a great deal on the 2021!!

      SLIPPER/ASSIST CLUTCH
      The slipper/assist clutch lets us lighten up the clutch-lever effort by 45 percent compared to previous systems, but automatically locks up tight when you release it.

    Hi Im looking to get a CBR 500r 2022 Im a new rider I sat on RS660 the seat is too high Im 5'5

    • @Motahead7930
      @Motahead7930  Год назад +1

      Yeah the RS660 is a sick machine! I’m about 5’7 I’m able to flat foot the CBR500R! Either bike is a great choice! I’m actually considering the RS 660 as my next bike..
      But the reliability scares me a little bit lol!! Thanks for watching! Congratulations in advance!

    Is that insurance quote a month??

    • @Motahead7930
      @Motahead7930  Год назад

      Yeah, that's what I was paying per month. But insurance can vary tremendously depending on area riding experience etc.
