- Friends I know you have been patiently waiting for a tour of the house so here we go!. This is going to be a full walk around tour of our house, inside and out, and a 3D model of the layout of the house. You will also hear from the architect himself on how he went about designing the building. I’m so blessed to be able to say my husband designed and built me a whole house 😁❤️

About Us:
We are the Tandi’s and this is our channel documenting our journey back home to Zimbabwe. We have lived in the UK for over 20 years. In a bid to prepare for our relocation journey back to Zimbabwe we are building our homestead in rural Zimbabwe.
Our goal is to have a sustainable and self-sufficient homestead that is offgrid. We are going to install a borehole, solar for electricity and everything else.
We are creating a safe space on our channel to build a community of like minded people who have the desire to relocate back to their home country. In this space we can share ideas, stories and expertise with each other.
You can expect vlogs style content from us at least 1-2 videos a week.

Good day Mr and Mrs Zuruvi me and my wife enjoy watching your content, we are also in the process of returning home. We have a question for you, please can you talk us through the process of shipping things (bath tubs etc) to Zimbabwe and the cost, thank you.
We will be happy to talk about this because we are currently planning to ship over things to Zimbabwe. When we have done so we will share. Previously we have only shipped cars and the solar panels.

That’s a good question so the materials were
- White foam board
- hot glue gun and the glue
- ruler
- pencils
- white paper ( to print the bricks, sky )
- printer
- scalpel knife

This is beautiful, how are you coping with zim Internet data my sister ? 😅
My friend Zim internet mazino veduwe the data goes very fast. I think every week I was topping up $18. It’s not very sustainable and budget friendly. If I was there with the Tandi children it means as a family we would be spending $54 a week that’s too much. So we definitely need a plan.
Mai Zuruvi are there lands in Bindura looking for one.
I don’t know much about the availability of lands in Bindura next time when I go I would like to sit down with the chief and discuss with him about this and also how people can get the land if it’s available.

Beautiful work , but why do u guys call a big and beautiful house like that a cottage .
This house was meant to be the cottage house and we were going to build a bigger house the main house however that plan changed because building is not child’s play 😆😆
@TheTandisLivingtheGoodLife 😀😀😀 But at times all those Mega buildings are unnecessary especially when you are grown on retirement and kids grown .l agree Building is no Childsplay .l believe a medium sized home with quality finishes is better than a mega house with shambolic finish
