There is no 'correct' place to set it. If you're using a DAW or recording interface turn it up until you get the desired gain level/signal in conjunction with your recording device. Or in other uses turn it up until you reach the desired volume. Into my bands mixing desk I had the knob at full volume, but at home into monitors it's only around 11 o clock.
How do you play your modelers e.g. Kemper, live? Do you go to a PA system? Do most venues have PA systems? I am in my first band looking to play my first gig with a Kemper wondering what the best approach is. Thanks in advance!
Yeah, I plug directly into the mixer from the main outs of whichever unit I'm using. From there I use in ear monitors. Regarding what the best approach is...that is a massive discussion and ultimately, it's down to your own personal preference. Do you prefer a real guitar cabinet on stage like a traditional setup? Or do you prefer a FRFR monitor which will basically give you the exact same sound coming back at you that is coming through the PA? Or you can go with In Ear Monitors which can take some getting used to at first but sound great (if you have decent ones) and will also protect your ears should you have a loud backline, or more specifically...a drummer! 🤣
So far your presets are on my Pod Go, amazing tones! All I need now is a "clean" preset! Thank you for doing this!
Thanks Jeff I'm pleased you're enjoying them. I think a nice clean preset will be on the way 😉
Thanks Tony!!! sounds awesome!

Nice vid! I have a question. The correct place to set the Master knob is at noon? Thank you.

Tony Emery Got it, thanks!
What are you doing during the time when you first put the compressor on? Sounds awesome!
Playing wise? I'm not sure just some random nonsense haha. I need to learn more metal riffs for sure!

@@duoqlife5317 Thanks for the support my friend!
Think this preset is probably solid enough to link to the L6 Market place.
Thanks Timothy. I'm honestly not sure how you even get to put your presets on there think you might have to be invited or something I have no idea.
Hahaha. Not sure how to go about that other than contact Jason Constantine on his Pod Go group.
I liked the video but i think the patch is too mutch distorted.
Cheers from Portugal 🍺🤘🇵🇹
