850 METERS is an 'after hours' project, an animated comedy short produced by THURISTAR and Lunanime, coming to festivals in 2013.
As we moved forward in production, THURISTAR has also been producing a 'making-of' series of the film, to follow the work of our very small team 'behind the scenes', each short episode featuring a new production step. Follow the making-of on www.thuristar.com/projects/850...
Synopsis : A not-so-brave knight is on a quest for Fame and Fortune - legend says rescuing a princess is the way to go. And in those same fairy tales, there's only one way to slay the dragon that hold the fair lady captive : find the invincible sword. To reach his goal, the knight is ready to go far. Maybe even as far as 850 METERS...

don't spend your hard earn money on this 3d Software! we have the almighty blender which outperform this in many ways!
Hi. You're preaching to the choir. The software I used for this doesn’t exist anymore, and we just produced our latest tv series Mush-Mush and the Mushables in Blender, all 52 episodes of 11 minutes. And we started season two. So yeah, we know about Blender. But I can tell you, when I animated this short 12 years ago, this software was truly amazing. Anyways... Blender!
@@THURIST yes but as you said, it was short lived! which was not reliable it was not popular enough and to grow with it like you would with blender would just be a waste of time and investment. now I don't know about you but I think of the long road and not the short one. you need something that would carry you through that long road and blender is is like the flying nimbus on DBZ! it scales through the clouds ready to take you to your destination in a breeze! even planes can't take you above the clouds.
@@artmanstudios7037: like I said, we just produced 572 minutes of animation IN BLENDER and it’s airing on TV in over a 150 countries. And Messiah:Studio doesn’t exist anymore. Why are you still trying to convince me? 🤪
