This is by far the best I’ve seen the Islanders play all season
LOL, sorry but it was the poorest the Bruins have played in a long, long time. Enjoy your W.
Salty are you?
@@rogerarchibald2627
@@rogerarchibald2627Salt much? Natural Hat Trick in the first period says the Isles just were on.
Bruins packed all equipment except skates…
Илья, Браво!Браво!Браво!
Looks like the B’s were tired of losing all those games in OT that they decided to do everything they could not to even make it that far.
Palmieri was every where, a haunting figure to the Bruins. Natural Hat trick. Great job.
Kyle Palmeiri scored not just a natural hat trick, but an authentic NHL hat trick as defined by the first three goals of the game scored by the same player. Quite a rare accomplishment, although i want to say it has occurred at least twice this season.
Сорокина с победой😅
The bruins where getting MAD…honestly completely unexpected in my opinion but I cannot complain with a spectacular game an an isles win🔥😩
Ilya Sorokin has faced the most shots of any goalie in the NHL by FAR. I'm sure last night was a breath of fresh air for him.
Сорока 👍💪
Every team has a blowout like this now and then. Can't have a 100% consistency, unless you're a robot.
The Islanders lost 7-0 to Pittsburgh in late December. It's a long season of 82 games. You will probably get blown out in at least one of them.
После ухода Бержерона Бостону полезны такие разгрузки. Флорида в конференции сделает всех.
the Bs play no check pond hockey. they just watch opponents skate by with the puck. four defenders cannot cover two forwards. whenever there is a loose puck in front of the Bs net, they play the puck. the forwards are in no danger of getting hit. you can see better fundamental hockey in a pee wee game -- no exaggeration. this is a pathetic coaching display. when does management tell the coaches to coach fundamentals or look for employment elsewhere. this team will get blown out in four straight by any team they draw in the playoffs. they are not having a tough run. it is a thin and soft team playing like they don't really care.
Bruins need a shake up.
Leafs will eliminate these weak ass bruins 1st round!!

Anders Lee and the New York Islanders win over David Pastrnak and the Boston Bruins 5-1 🏒🔵🟠⚪🗽
New York Islanders went up to 26-20-14, while the Boston Bruins move to 35-13-14

Карлик нос повесил нос😀NYI🏒🔥👍
That's was a disgraceful trouncing.
Bruins can’t clear the zone and their goaltending is sub par this year… far cry from last year
Bruins , only 3 wins in their last 10 games , and they are getting good goaltending Maybe players are thinking too much about Trade Deadline ..
Losing Bergeron and Krejci in the same offseason was too much. Being extremely soft doesn't really help either, but we can blame Lucic a bit for that.
Бостон, что с тобой? бережешь силы на П/О?
They need a 🇷🇺, but we have our beauties Soroki, Romy, and Varly, and Ruslan Iskhakov

Man what is going on with the Bruins? they just trying to get the Leafs in the 1st or something?
Might be it.🤷♂️🤔
Getting the leafs is the only way they don’t get destroyed in the first round.
@@shoresy4084 facts
Bruins should defeat Toronto in round 1 and then get defeated in round #2
I'd settle for that.
what makes you think this team will beat anybody, including the black hawks if they were in the playoffs ?
I think Boston isn't doing as well as last season because they lost Bergeron they have 27 or 28 losses already with still 23 games left..
Last year with Bergeron they only had like 16 losses
I LOVE ANYTIME the Bruins LOSE!!!!
I’m a Leaf’s fan and watch highlights every morning with my coffee, anyways, that’s by far the worst defensive effort I’ve seen from Boston this year. They never give up that many chances in a game.
The guy who scored the Boston goal not only wears Mike Milbury's old number, he actually looks like young Milbury when Milbury was a player. And he has the same initials as Milbury. Spooky stuff.
Seriously, Boston, just go home now. Obviously, the team no longer cares any more. Stop embarrassing yourselves.
A disastrous Bruins February bleeds into March. Someone anyone get a Doctor fast! Bruins need stitches to have a chance…
We need the Hammer back :c Go B's!
Good bye 1st place
With so many overtime games, all that extra ice time, maybe the bruins are tired and sore?
Good game Isles, good game 💙🧡💙

You know times are tough when some people don’t throw their hats anymore 😂😂 these sports stores straight robbing us with these crazy prices
Bruins need give JVR more minutes. They play Pasta, Marchie and Coyle too much.
I love the Bruins, but they play like there in a fog. Defense is terrible and the goalies have not been much better. I have never seen the Bruins get beat so bad this year. Its time to make some moves... Shake it up.
media keeps talking about trading for a top 6 center or a top 4 Dman. that's nice. how about a date with beyonce, too ? what money are they going to use for those stars they just traded imaginary draft picks and prospects for ? if the cupboard is bare, how about coaching what you do have on the bench ? introduce the Dmen to body checking in front of the net. puh leez get rid of that ridiculous collapsing 5 on 5 defensive box that only guarantees shots and penalties because it avoids checking to take away the puck. they won't touch opponent forwards like they are radioactive. clear the net and those pucks will not be jumping into the net by themselves.
Goalies have not been better? Have you lost your mind? If you blame this on the goalies, you clearly knows nothing about the game. The Bruins have the best goalie tandem in the NHL but this happens when there is no team D.
@@anordman9659 you are right -- the Bs have the best two goalies in the league, but this year isn't last year when they were awesome. this year they are costing the team a game here and there, like ullmark giving the puck away in vancouver for a goal or swayman letting in a couple of soft goals in calgary. they play great most of the time and then they F up. this team would be looking up at the black hawks without them, though.
@@Mike___Honcho this happens when the defenders allow secondary scoring and when the forwards stop back-checking. Ullmark is just as good as last year and Swayman is even better. Puck luck is earned, not given.
@@anordman9659 i am almost with you, but it is quibbling about small effects. this team will not throw a check in front of their own goalies, who have to manage screens by themselves, fight forwards for position, manage all rebounds and fight for loose pucks. i have watched countless replays where Bs Dmen just stand there and watch guys tip shots, get their own rebounds, and stand alone untouched in front of the net until the shots come in. i got knocked on my ass more playing youth hockey. the Bs goalies are still very good this year, but they have had more bad games than last year. last year was a magical year for them and this year is more realistic. i don't think backchecking is so much of a problem, but if you are unwilling to ever throw a check, that means you are relying on the pther team to make a mistake for a turnover, or a save. the Bs play a ridiculous 5 on 5 collapsing box, like the PK box, but all it does is guarantee shots and penalties because you allow the opponent to shoot within the circles. whoever dreamt up that defensive scheme should be banned from hockey forever. it is the equivalent of letting your opponent start play from your 40 yard line without any resistance. now all they really have to do is shoot and crash the net for the rebound. after all, your Dmen don't check or clear rebounds.
Lol bruins crybaby’s, enjoy that first round exit B’s!
Nice try troll, btw your an insult to shoresy with your "opinions" Any true B's fan knew when patrice and david retired to expect a couple years of rebuild. I didnt expect much they played well enough to get the record they did now they tank. No big whoop.

Monty needs to be fired he’s lost the team. Deadline shakeup is needed
I think every player on the Bruins must've had the same tainted food for the meal before the game. There's no other explanation.
The Bruins or the chronicle of a predictable and predicted debacle: As I wrote in a comment on this channel in mid-November 2023 (and which earned me some insults), a team made up of too many players who have reached their athletic saturation point (thus, in regression), too many extras (who are only present and nothing more), too many slow players, too many players who refuse to get involved physically and a blatant lack of scorers (natural). In short, when talent is so limited, you must concentrate it on the same line or dilute it on more than one line; in both cases, the result will be the same: a team, overall, permanently vulnerable... and the consequences of this vulnerability will impose themselves sooner or later.
Comments:
- Marchy is very, very tired.
- DeBrusk, a player without the slightest determination. Spends most of the match skating for nothing (and not to provoke anything). And above all, who shows great reluctance when, in a contested race for a puck at the back of the zone, he deliberately slows down so as not to be hit.
- Jesper Boqvist deserves to be on a better line; his talent (his unusual potential) would be more useful.
Considering this general (and, admittedly, incomplete) assessment and the resource needs of the current team, will GM Sweeney make a move between now and the trade deadline? It all depends on whether management really believes in the team's chances of getting their hands on a Stanley Cup; it all also depends on the finances available and the possibilities of exchange (for example, DeBrusk would be a good bait). One thing is certain, we must add an impact defensive player (very good defender and with a very good attack recovery) and a very good center player (to add power to one of the first two lines.. . and ideally, very good at faceoffs).
For my part, I am not optimistic.
Answer: this Friday March 8, 2024.
Bruins never had a chance at winning a real trophy and now have 100% chance of getting stomped by Toronto in round 1
Whooped by another 20 loss team.....trash
LGI
The Islanders are happy to win, but seeing the marchand's face, the joy is double!
What an absolutely pathetic display by the Bruins. This team is trash.
Wha happun Bs
Boston relays on David brad and mccavoy to do everything hardly any scoring from depth recently. Monty has to go lost the team and the team is being pressured by front office to win a cup flawlessly time for bruins to part ways with Neely and Sweeney cause they are letting the ego get to there head.
Also send mccavoy to a new team love him to the ends of the earth but his ego has gotten to high and they need to go out and get some players or draft picks in return. First round exit by Florida team, Washington, Philly, or the leafs.
Trade McAvoy? Are you nuts?
I don't care who does it as long as the freaking dirtiest team in the NHL LOSES!!!...Screw Boston!!!
