Fantastic clear and detailed recap! Never seen such a systematic dense but approachable way to describe chord progressions within the tonal system, great job as always 👏

Incredible video! And I love how you referenced Open Studio as well (they're possibly one of the best channels I've found so far). But the sheer amount of actual helpful info here is phenomenal
I can't wait to start learning how to make jazz, it'll take a lot of practice for me but it's worth it

Yeah I discovered their channel this year, right after I started diving into 11th and 13th chords. Their video are both greatly educational and pleasant to watch!

Awesome video, thank you! Definitely will help me stray from typical progressions, and use different voicings/styles 🎹

Hey Woochia, what I would love to see is a video on what chords to play when your melody is in a blue minor scale.

Hi! I have a video on the blues scale already, maybe that can help. I have to dig more into that, but I assume that would use a regular minor chord progression, and the blue note would work best on a degree III (playing a minor third over a major chord to have this blues colour).

@Woochia thanks! I could obviously experiment, but I always have no problem just jamming melodies with minor blues scales, but then struggle when trying to find a progression that sounds good with it
