浅草寺の節分会は日本の伝統行事「追儺（ついな）」に由来する豆まきイベント。
節分は、旧暦の立春が新年であったため、その前の日に邪気を払う目的で始まったとされています。中国の古い鬼追いの行事「追儺」と合わさり、広まったとされているそうです。
節分の由来:
邪気を払い、一年の無病息災を願う行事
病や災い（＝鬼）を祓い、その豆を食べることで力をいただけると考えられた
平安時代ごろに中国から伝わってきた文化が、日本古来の考え方と合わさって生まれたと考えられているとの事です。
Setsubun-kai at Sensoji Temple is a bean-throwing event derived from the traditional Japanese event "Tsuina."
Setsubun is said to have started with the aim of exorcising evil spirits the day before, as the spring of the lunar calendar was the New Year. It is said to have spread in conjunction with the old Chinese tagger event "Tsuina"
