@@matthiuskoenig3378 Actually in most adaptations I've read, with some exceptions, Jason only kills repeat, repeat offenders and the worst of the worst. There are versions of Jason that kill low level goons, but its not his default.
Red Hood is exactly what the world needed in the Injustice universe On one hand, killing is acceptable when the criminals give no other choices, but on the other hand, senselessly murdering people and calling yourself a hero is just wrong But there’s one thing that Red Hood could’ve fixed, not all criminals are irredeemable, even murderers deserve a second chance, now mass murderers like the Joker do deserve death, but the way I see it, a hero doesn’t kill, and sometimes, killing is necessary In that sense, a hero has no place in fighting crime, because they’ll never do what needs to be done to some criminals I feel like Red Hood could’ve been a healthy mix between Batman and Superman, killing only those who actually gave him no choice, and no one else
Watch death note, i think i'm with red hood on this. Fear will reduce crime rate Look what happens when US police is defunded on some states, the crime rate spikes up because there are no threats

Sure, if by "effective" you mean "good at killing folks who might've commited a crime". There's a reason that lynch mobs have such a bad rep, vigilante "justice" innevitably spills innocent blood.
@toahero5925 Same exact argument over and over again, you people. It's like you didn't even understand what his goal is. Punish the ones who commit light crimes, kill those who have repeatedly made the same mistake, i.e villains like the Joker or Pyg, in order to scare those who were spared so they don't commit crimes ever again. Sure sounds more effective than Batman's, that's for sure.

Yeah, Batman doesn't want to become like the Punisher. Still, in the Injustice series, he tries to stop others, NOT just his "superhero family", from killing as well. He also intended keeping Brainiac alive in his ending, and even after restoring the cities. Seriously, Batman from the comics, during Final Crisis, was willing to kill Darkseid because he was just too dangerous!

As much as DC wants to portray Red hood/Jason as a villain or a mercenary, he’s actually right he doesn’t follow the motives of any government body which prevents him from following a dictator and he has the right sense of justice that whatever the criminal did should have equal consequences.
he is not necessarily right, he is essentially judge jury and executioner. and he doesn't just kill the worst of the worst, he is usually also depicted as killing regular street thugs/etc. red hood, like all humans, is failable. he can think the wrong person did the crime and since he is willing to just kill them he can kill an actually innocent person. (hell red hood has killed 100% innocent policemen because they got in his way) ok what about the worst super villians you say? well its not exactly like people stay dead in this universe, *looks at jason* i think its best for everybody if supervilliens are held in max security prisons. atleast then they can be monitored, there is a small chance of redemption and if they do escape/are freed the heroes know exactly when it happens and where to start looking for them again.
I think red hood vision of justice is the most acurate and efficient one, it's the exact midle between superman's and batman's vision, and im sorry but even batman's vision is wrong, monsters like the joker should be erased from the planet.

For those who don't know, the little girl at 0:49 is Scarlet, and in one comic she is Red Hood's sidekick, and the reason she looks like that is because of Professor Pyg
I like this ending! Red Hood is the more realistic hero compared to Batman! And Cameron Bowen (aka Young Justice Tim Drake) as his voice? WAAAAY better than his Arkham Knight portrayal (not hating on Troy Baker, but rather, his whiny performance as Jason Todd)!! I dunno how it happened, or what exactly happened, but I believe they found the *definitive voice* (y'know, what Kevin Conroy is to Batman, or Tim Daly/George Newbern is to Superman) for Jason Todd in Cameron Bowen.

@@DeadlyFunky1014 I really enjoyed it, great depiction of Red Hood. Also has Neil Patrick Harris as Nightwing, which was cool. I would recommend it
As long as it’s animated because DC works better in animation than live action most of the time.
@@agente9988 Yeah Under the Red Hood is an animation. Fairly basic art style, nothing especially groundbreaking, but still a great film nonetheless. My favourite depiction of Red Hood.
I half expected a BANG! after that fade to black from Red Hood standing over Pyg.
He's actually so sweet
Great, maybe you can fix him
Batman: if you kill a killer, the number of killers in the world stays the same.
Red hood: so, what your saying is, kill a LOT of killers then?
Lol that quote is weird because yeah if you kill a killer the number of a killers stays the same but what about the next killer you kill? The number goes down right?
@@2Bound2 yeah also the number of innocent lives lost doesn't go up vs letting them go as Batman does, how many lives has he indirectly taken because he let the Joker live (or Bane or any other baddie), in a world as corrupt as theirs where criminals go in and out of Arkham, red hood's method is the only one that makes sense.
@@francargeric1 red hood is too extreme, he kills criminals as low as petty thugs and thieves in most adaptions, i can understand killing the most dangerous and/or most repeat offenders. but i am of the opinion you should atleast give reformation a chance, which red hood doesn't really do.
@@matthiuskoenig3378 He is the direct response to the passiveness of Batman, a middle ground would be ideal but Nightwing is more like Batman in that way. But if you give me to choose between red hood and Batman, red hood is the better approach, Batman ends up creating these villains by giving them a challenge (and knowing there are pretty much no consequences), while redhood chases them down, crossing him means death, not a beating and couple weeks vacation at Arkham.
@@matthiuskoenig3378 Actually in most adaptations I've read, with some exceptions, Jason only kills repeat, repeat offenders and the worst of the worst.
Punisher, on the other one, is the person more known to brutally torture and kill an entire criminal operation even low level goons.
There are versions of Jason that kill low level goons, but its not his default.
So red hood ending was screw both sides? I approve. This ending 10 out of 10 best ending in injustice 2.👍
so basically, he ends up becoming Batman.
Jason: :"NO, I'M NOT!!! YOU SHUT UP!!!"
No he becomes Murder Batman

Basically, he becomes DC's Punisher
He becomes a much more effective version of Batman.
He becomes Thomas Wayne

Red Hood is exactly what the world needed in the Injustice universe
On one hand, killing is acceptable when the criminals give no other choices, but on the other hand, senselessly murdering people and calling yourself a hero is just wrong
But there’s one thing that Red Hood could’ve fixed, not all criminals are irredeemable, even murderers deserve a second chance, now mass murderers like the Joker do deserve death, but the way I see it, a hero doesn’t kill, and sometimes, killing is necessary
In that sense, a hero has no place in fighting crime, because they’ll never do what needs to be done to some criminals
I feel like Red Hood could’ve been a healthy mix between Batman and Superman, killing only those who actually gave him no choice, and no one else
Watch death note, i think i'm with red hood on this. Fear will reduce crime rate
Look what happens when US police is defunded on some states, the crime rate spikes up because there are no threats
Yea I am somewhat with you it's mostly become a dilemma on which criminals should live or die
i love his "grew up in the slums" character style
Thats why i luv jason, doesnt follow batman's stupid rule and sup's faulty domination

The voice acting is amazing, you can truly feel how satisfied jason is from those first 3 words.
This is probably my least favorite voice actor for Jason tbh. They should have gotten Troy Baker to play him again. Here he sounds like an edgelord teen imo.

Indeed wish he could’ve kept his Arkham knight Armour and gear
But with Bat symbol rather than Joker made Arkham one or maybe completely re design it
Sure, if by "effective" you mean "good at killing folks who might've commited a crime".
@@Brkncntrllr Yes, because courtrooms are *entirely* unnecessary for knowing who commited those crimes.
@@toahero5925 The entire point is that courtrooms are inefficient at dealing with villains like the Joker.

Red Hood : Thanks.
Red Hood should have his own faction in injustice 3
Should've named The Outlaws after the comics I guess
Fun thing is that at the end of the day, Jason is the true balance between Bruce and Clark. He is fighting for justice, but he's not gonna hold back and let villains continue their evil. But he's not gonna try to control everything like Superman did. Even though he isn't part of the Injustice 2 storyline, his story was told in a pretty neat way, NRS did a great job.
they good in making non-canon ending but their story, especially the main villain kronika, they don't do it properly
When I saw Pigg lying on the ground I was overjoyed, he's too evil, even for the DC universe
That builds up the satisfaction of smashing his mask as we slammed his head on the table.

Jason was the most senseful person in the entire game
you know things are fucked then Harley Jason and Atrocitus have more positive endings than "Heroes"
I hope Jason has a larger role in the third game
To me, the much better leaders are the ones who don't stand for either side. That alone shows potential. I love Red Hood, he would be a real hero to Gotham then that of Batman.
I side with Superman but I wouldn’t be nearly as despotic and controlling as he was.
If Red Hood was Gotham's protector, the city would be far cleaner than when Batman is doing it. Why? Because Red Hood at least brings results, Batman only makes things worse.
Yeah he's the Hero Gotham needs but not the one they want clearly, at the end of the day Batman is still the true Hero of Gotham wether you like it or not and nothing is going to change that plus you have to remember that not all Criminals are like The Joker some of them are doing criminal thing because they're in desperate situations or are just doing it to save their loved ones like mr freeze
@@jorgebersabe293 It wouldn't become cleaner. When a villain dies do you think their message just does with them? No it flourishes. People will hear of his death and humanize him and many will follow in his footsteps. If the joker dies you'll get cults and copycats galore all trying to finish the job he started. Red hood is good at first but he would cause more harm than good in the long run.
@@BennyFNV to me, joker is that one jigsaw puzzle that nobody could really figure out, and he lives in a city where crime is just as complex as he is
Kinda disappointed that there wasn't a fired bullet sound at the end of this.
Red Hood is the closest thing to a playable Rorschach in Injustice 2.
Pretty much
No Rorschach is far right wing conservative. Red hood is more independent....I think.
Jason is the coolest bat family member I like his suit desgin and his weapon choice
Batman has a no-kill rule to keep him sane, not because he thinks it's right... I don't think most people get that
Yeah, Batman doesn't want to become like the Punisher.
@@videogollumer Maybe Batman is trying to give some villains a chance to reform themselves, like Harley Quinn. Maybe that’s why he wants to spare them and not kill.
@@JodanStaples Yes, but Harley actually shows signs of reforming. What about Victor Zsasz? Did he have much chance? Also, he wanted to keep Brainiac alive, and not just after restoring the cities!
(hell red hood has killed 100% innocent policemen because they got in his way)
ok what about the worst super villians you say? well its not exactly like people stay dead in this universe, *looks at jason* i think its best for everybody if supervilliens are held in max security prisons. atleast then they can be monitored, there is a small chance of redemption and if they do escape/are freed the heroes know exactly when it happens and where to start looking for them again.

I love Jason Todd still I wonder why people didn't like him in 80s
I believe it has something to do with the character kind of being very rude and annoying but possibly it could be because they hate him for replacing dick Grayson

He's good, but I still prefer Jensen Ackles. Though I'm probably biased cause A) He was my introduction to the character and B) I'm a bit of a Supernatural fanboy.
he's a lot better in the Red Hood DLC, not as edgy, but while still having edge and still being a bit of an arsehole, he's snarky but not a quiper like Nightwing, basically a more violent balance between Bruce and Dick
