It is important to be aware that there are aggressive actions being taken with FBA. The claims being made involve intellectual property and inventions. There are individuals who are deeply passionate about this matter and offended by us providing evidence of the origins of hip-hop. If black Americans continue to be passive and allow others to take advantage of their contributions, they will be content with us only receiving the scraps. It is crucial not to allow others to dictate the narrative, keeping us complacent and struggling financially while they benefit from our creativity and resourcefulness.

If we show you the same dances the same rapping the same music just don’t have a name yet one of them came amongst us and put this name on what we were doing already and you think that it started then well the name wasn’t given until the early 80s so everything before then don’t count? Don’t play like we came from the caves. I stand on my own in the rap we were there not 50 but 5 stop the BS like we we’re not slick. SETI I have had a problem with others using this word for a while now. Even the kids in school say it. My daughter’s school was yelling it while jumping on little Black girls. It was so bad my daughter was getting into confrontations DAILY. When I told the principal how offensive it was she said, “well you know it’s just slang and y’all use it, it’s in y’all music and everything.” Like tf!!! Then she had the nerve to be a White lady with adopted Black kids😮 I was so mad I had to unenroll my child because they allow the non Black kids to do this with NO consequences. It’s sooo out of hand. But I don’t play that though. When I hear it I start using their derogatory word and they be appalled and then they be like, “ooh okay I got you, I apologize.” Because I don’t care. You wanna offend me??? Oh it’s on and cracking. I went it researched all they derogatory words even in their own language yup I sho did and quick to use. We can both play this game🤷🏾‍♀️😤 Most of these, not all but waaay too many have NO RESPECT for us because they be mad, they not like us🤦🏾‍♀️❤️🖤💙✊🏾

They had a language barrier that we helped them to bridge! Treated them like family cause they look like us. They came to our hood!

Hip hop was not created in the BX.
    It was created in NYC
He's speaking from a BX prospective.
    Not a NYC prospective.
That is where he is wrong.
Y'all live on top of each other in the BX and that is why Joe feels that way put on hip hop started in New York City. Not the Bronx.

They forget about black migration. most of all, BAs come from the South. The 1920s was the 1st wave, and 60/70s were the 2nd wave of black southern transplants. “Hip-hop” was financed and mainstream in the 1970s but “jungle music” was always around- its not a NY thing, y'all created a specific sound in rap just like Detroit, west coast, and NOLA have theirs.

This serves as a clear example of FBA's lack of documented factual evidence. It is evident that they often revert to historical references from the 1920s, 1940s, and earlier in an attempt to assert their claim of having 'created' Hip Hop. However, opinions do not hold weight in the realm of Hip Hop or any history research . It is important to clarify that FBA consistently seeks arguments to support their stance, despite the overwhelming historical evidence indicating that they were not the originators of any art forms within Hip Hop. Thus, their only recourse is to reference the 1940s, which fails to substantiate any claims regarding the true origins of Hip Hop. The reality is that FBA are contributors to the genre, not its creators-similar to the role of players in the NBA, where they are contributors rather than creators and originators of the itself

Black people in the U.S. have typically gone through movements. The push is to name ourselves for the first time since the descriptors assigned on the U.S. Census after slavery. There is no leader, it's a lineage. Unfortunately, this message is getting lost with all of the unnecessary bickering and revisionist history.
