  • Not much to this video that the title already explains. During RTA of Central Maryland's cookout, 'Bethesda UP' lend us one of their El-Dy EZ Riders for a demonstration tease of what our 2017 bus order may result. No guarantees that it will be specifically Eldorado National but it does ranges between New Flyer MiDis or maybe even GILLIGs [say what you want but GILLIGs aren't bad] with a 35-foot standard version.

Our New Flyer MiDis in our area worked well in our season Phlash Service by Krapf's in Philadelphia's Center City area. SEPTA also got some for their contracted routes in both city and suburban routes. So among the potentials your transit has many to look at.

yooooooo!!!!! you even got to sit in the drivers seat!!!
man i wish Brampton Transit would let us do that whenever they have buses on display to the public (then again i should have asked when i was on the charter lel)

Similar to the Beach Cities Transit Bus but different colored seats no buttons by doorway

Hmm. I wonder if this bus is cheaper than the gilligs. If so I bet this will be RTAs next bus. The interior is very similar to the 35 ft gilligs used by TransIT.

My thoughts exactly. These are cheaper or the cheapest among intercity bus manufacturers

+MJofLakeland1 There's really nothing wrong with these in my opinion, as long as they run better than the Thomas low floor models that are out there. Nothing can be worse than them.

ALP Train Videos If you think about, with our rural-style network layout, the Eldorados wouldn't have much issues compared to the city streets. Don't get me wrong, I'll take these 1,000 times over the Thomas and IC truck/buses if there were any consolation to replace them.

it resembles more to a NABI LFW series

If Gillig 35FTs were the next buses for RTA instead of this model or the New Flyer Midi, would they be diesel versions or hybrid versions like the current ones?

'If' RTA is on a budget then sanity suggests diesel but 'if' stereotypical propaganda is in play, then hybrids [Meaning less will be ordered due to that nature.] I hope 'sanity' is the lead-way.
