- Day 68! "The Rolling Wave" Jig
Today we're at the Irish Cultural & Heritage Center in Milwaukee and I'm joined by Jeff Ksiazek from the great Milwaukee band athas. Jeff works at the Ward Irish Music Archives in Wauwatosa and he know ALL the tunes!!!

I am going to have to learn this one!!
Mighty stuff!
Wooooooooow...
Lovely stuff. Mighty accompaniment as well. Is this the gentleman from Athas? I'm acquainted with Heather.
Great rendition! Questions: What's "trim"? A place? What is the meaning of "humours" in these tune contexts?
Dave S. Trim I believe is in county Meath, and in the context of tunes "humours" is kinda the energy or spirit of the place, so the tune tries to sum up the spirit of Trim. There are a bunch of "humours" tunes, I'd recommend the humours of glendart and the humours of tulla.
Thank you!
@@DragoShane That sums it up well, fair play!
I believe there's a Castle Trim.
C'est un traditionnel ?
Is the guitar tuned in DADGAD?
Tis indeed! I borrowed David Howley's Collins that night - great guitar!
