5:25, the ball is over the line. I was behind that goal on the night & I also thought so. Almost impossible for the officials to see & all-in-all, in spite of what I overheard some Welling lads saying, the officiating at this game was very good but yeah, I'd say that's over the line?!
Done well to hook it over his head and out of the goal if it was over. Looks close, but I'd say more out than in. Linesman was on that side, and never gave it, he had the best view.
Yes Stuart, you could be right.......the whole of the ball may not have crossed the whole of the line. Also, the linesman on that side was excellent. In the first half the Hampton & Richmond defenders were doing this thing whereby they were clearing the ball & in doing so were playing it off the Welling forwards. The ball was ricoceting off at high spped & out for a throw & he called it right everytime. One richoceted off the UNDERSIDE of a Welling boot & he correctly gave it Hampton & Richmond's way! Mind you, without VAR he's a long way off to be able to see & surely his view is further impeded by the near post but yeah, you could be right & thanks for your reply too......@@stuartgamester9840
