This video is too real. I used to attend LPSCON a few years ago. People always stole. From people trading, from people selling, and just everywhere. Kleptomaniacs. I dont mean that as a jab at everyone there. But the people working for LPSCON were always incredibly rude. They kicked out CCs when i attended years before. They never cared about AC or peoples health (people constantly getting heatstroke). They dont check tickets when people go to the other floors. You could by general admission and make your way to VIP if you wanted (when i attended). They never checked bags. The heat was horrible. But its Nevada. Maybe doing it in California would be better? Anyways, love your content please keep up the amazing work!!
Yeah I had heard some things about the con and the ceo so I had a feeling it’d be a mess but apparently this was the worst according to everyone who went! I left out a lot due to it not being my experience but I know videos are on the horizon. Owner needs to either step back for a few years to properly plan this con or pass it over to new owners. 💙
Charging a dollar for water at LPS CON is crazy, considering how much money everyone paid for their tickets, and how the heat was 100+! 😭🤚
(Also i saw your sticker on the banner, and I like watching your videos, im glad someone someone was being honest about their LPS CON experience)
Yeah I’d understand if the waters had custom labels, but they literally were just selling ones you can get at Costco or Sam’s (which specifically say not for resell separately LOL)

@@leslierodent I would to, but the competition host opened the items before the giveaway. I don’t shame people for opening their own collectibles, but a competition host should not open items they’re giving away

I am not against collectors opening up in box collectibles, I am an out of box collector myself.
I just find it really inappropriate for the event organizers to open up collector items that they are raffling off. Especially since some collectors like to keep their items untouched and new in box!!

I was a winner of the dragons and ppl thought I knew nana 😢 and got it for her cause I was sitting on the stairs cause I thought I was gonna pass out but me and my parents had to leave right after the raffle cause ppl were harassing us to trade/buy him, and yes she ruined the box it has cuts all over the top and the bottom

I think the difference between the cons was def the amount of people. I’ve been to the 2022, 2021, 2020 cons and every one had the same problems as this one BUT there was WAY LESS people, So the problems that did occur were much more easy to handle. Also I love how people were so angry about the heat for the 2024 con, but the 2021 con was COMPLETELY OUTSIDE with NO free water(I think there was a bar outside the con were we got some water tho), We did at least have shade but that was it lol. Idk lpscon has always been chaotic! I saw so many people losing stuff, stuff being stolen, and scheduling issues. But there were never in mass. Now that there’s so many people, these little problems are not so little anymore and hopefully they will fix them 🤞🏼
THERES A SERIES TWO!!! 😫where I am we barely had the series one boxes!! And not even two days in someone bought the WHOLE display case and they didn’t restock for a long time.
Added I also appreciate you adding the codes for the lps 💕we definitely used that while we were collecting 😉to get the ones we wanted.

Honestly this is why you need to go with me to Sherri’s doll show already lol fully vended, three giant rooms, the rooms are heavily air conditioned, and there’s food and Starbucks in the hotel lobby 💖

LPS CON 2024 was An absolute Nightmare!!! BTW great video you summed it up a bit Kinder than we would have. Seriously it was so jammed with sweaty cranky hot thirsty crabby patties. Nothing real special other than the new friendships made (which is priceless) It certainly will not shade the love we have for LPS but we most definitely will not be returning to a mess like that again!!!

Yeah, I didn’t get to chat with everyone I wanted to because it was just so crowded and I was pretty tired by the end of it, so with all the noise and too much going on, I just didn’t feel like putting in the effort to talk to certain people, when talking to someone shouldn’t take that much effort (but it did, with how the event was).
So true!! There was so many more people this time it was so overwhelming :(

Lame sorry its sucked 😐 its been too hot im in Minnesota and its was 95 here and i couldn't stand it i can only imagine vegas heat at 115 😮 they really should have done water at least. Prolly why people where rude too heat and too many people can do that 😒sounds like they made it rough on people.
I went to Lpscon with my younger sisters (19 and 17) and though they're not as into lps as i am we had a great time. I was surprised someone wanted to trade a postcard great dane for the mommy and puppy dachshund (that dachshund was on my wish list for a long time.) And a nice older woman told my sister pick two pets for free. She said I could pick some to but I just liked one, a butterfly with a star on it's face that reminds me of David Bowie. 😅
Unfortunately I don't pay enough attention on Instagram and RUclips so I wasn't aware of you there. Oof I recognized namewithrat though. 😅
I got chronic lung disease so Air conditioning is a major factor plus I'm a wheelchair user

Yeah, bags not being checked is one of my biggest complaints about the event. It’s not okay and it could have been very dangerous.

God my local comic con is better organized than this and their only problem is not having anything set up for disabled people like allowing front of the line access for autographs. I need to remember to discuss that with those who run it. (it’s done by the local comic store who me and my dad are on close terms with so they’ll listen to me on this)

Unless it’s changed from the first series, you can just match the number of the iguana on the back of the box with the last 2 digits of the E code on the bottom of the box
