    Thank you for putting this out there when you did. I had one day left on my Severn/Solent rail rover, so had a trip up there, from Southampton, on Monday. Great place to visit. Cheers 👍

    Thank you.The doorway would have had a door in it. Not open like now.

      @@jeffreycarson3183 thanks for the information. Do you have an idea of how the door was constructed/hinged. I'll check out for evidence of fixings on the next Type24 I visit 🙏

      @@WalkingWild56 Not as such but I read of a home guard member recalling that they locked the door when not in use.
