Hi, I am watching from England. I am a Mason. I have spoken to an American Mason (WM) at an Open House (I had no sponsor). It does not seem like they put much thought towards the (PH) masons....why?
@@MrOppy678 there are some states who do not recognize PH masonry. It’s a weird vestigial racism thing. Most grand lodges in the states view the few who hold out as backward and regressive. The vast majority of grand lodges in the US recognize and welcome PH masons with reverence; they are absolutely waaaay more crisp with ritual than garden variety masonry! It’s also true that many PH masons are plural members of regular lodges too. The divide, at least in the perception of those I have spoken with, seems to come from the simple fact that a brother vouches for a candidate. He was from the Island of Barbados just like Crispus Attucks!!! Mind shift when you understand how deep that is and the narrative change in the mind of the youth.
Prince Hall is a great story of lies, deceit, focus, and determination. Lies and deceit weren't Prince Hall's doing, but he spent his life legitimizing Africa lodge, 11 min does him no justice but there are discussion panels and podcasts all over the internet chronicling his story. Great black man.
Since Masonry is so benevolent and pure....someone please explain these 'INNOCENT' oaths below the Entered Apprentice: “All this I most solemnly and sincerely promise and swear, …binding myself under no less penalty than that of having my throat cut from ear to ear, my tongue torn out by its roots, and buried in the sands of the sea, at lower water mark, where the tide ebbs and flows twice in twenty-five hours, should I, in the least, knowingly or wittingly violate or transgress this my Entered Apprentice obligation.” Or that of the Fellow Craft degree: “All this I most solemnly and sincerely promise and swear, … binding myself under no less penalty than that of having my left breast torn open, my heart plucked from thence, and given to the beast of the field and the birds of the air as prey; should I, in the least knowingly or wittingly; violate or transgress this my Fellow Craft obligation.” Or that of the Master Mason: “All this I most solemnly and sincerely promise and swear, …binding myself under no less penalty than that of having my body severed in two, my bowels torn from thence and burned to ashes, and these scattered before the four winds of heaven, that no more remembrance might be had among men or Masons of so vile a wretch as I should be, should I, in the least, knowingly or wittingly violate or transgress this my Master Mason obligation. So help me God and keep me steadfast.” Please explain these innocent statements for those devoid of light. Ephesians 5:11-14 King James Version 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. 13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. 14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and CHRIST shall give thee light. Isn't the GOD OF HEAVEN the source of Light?
Masonry is all about Symbolism. Do you actually think that if the oath is broken someone is gonna tear your breast open. To understand these oaths you would have to be there to understand what happens while you are taking these oaths.
You said his early life was murky, how well did you do your research. Dr. John Henrike Clarke one of our pre-eminent historians states this in his biography of Marcus Garvey, his organization and his predecessors.
hmmm...that was your takeaway? The Black Free Masons are part of a legacy of Blacks folks organizing to improve conditions for their community. I can't say I see the comparison.

When the Irish left Boston. Prince Hall did not have a charter.they were only permitted to March on St John's day and connduct Masonic funerals. He had to petition the grand lodge of England for a charter.
✅Great Work!
My sister, you really need to look a little deeper into what freemasonry is
If you have any recommendations on where to dig deeper, let me know.
You did a wonderful job. Thanks for shedding light on a wonderful man. @@BlackGemsUnearthed
I know this is about Prince Hall but what kind of man did she say Crippuss Attucks was, sounded like an Aboriginal American Indian man to me...do we need to get Dane Calloway on the phone just so he can reiterate the points that he be trying to make
Hi! I said he Crispus was Wampanoag & Black. This is a pretty good article from Indian Country Today about him indiancountrytoday.com/archive/crispus-attucks-black-native-shared-narrative-changed-world
I don't have a comment I have a question, is it true that Prince hall was born in Barbados in the West Indies?
Do some research on the "Odd Fellows" a freemason branch in the 1870-early 1900 who had a black branch which ran black orphanages as part of the reset.
No mention of the prince hall masons but they had to be involved
Blessings to all good brothers that find the craft internally sufficient, hold your squares, the young miss put this together nicely well appreciated when were looked at indifferent
Shame on you to treat lucifarianisim like is it's causal and non threatening and not a big deal, it is a big deal, it's evil and it's wrong it's a road to hell
Happy founder day to all pha

Thanks great information 👁️☀️🌙🔺🔥
Prince Hall was born in Barbados.
I am not sure if you will read this comment however, I would ask if you could research the identity and history of Blacks “scattered” throughout the diaspora. I have watched several videos suggesting that blacks in the Americas and Caribbean are actually the scattered tribes of Israel. Any help in this research would be forever appreciated 🙏🏾
I don't believe in ANY fraternal orders that have secret origins or practices.
How much money does your family have in their respective bank accounts ? Tell me what was said at your last church meeting.
Was prince hall not born in Barbados
Greetings from Frederick T. Hicks Lodge # 117 Maryland Jurisdiction (PHA) - Frankfort Germany
vEry enlightening
All praise be to Allah. and that is a Blessing.
Thank you!
We don’t know how he look yet he was a “black” mason
We know he was Black
Hi I want to join Freemasonry
I'm sure you can find a lodge near you if you Google it!
Absolutely awesome! Great video!!
You did not mentioned he came from Barbados..
even still albert pike didnt recognized them as masons ..
It didn’t matter what pike thought (by the way he changed his tone later on) but PH masonry is the only faction of masonry in America with its original charter.
Wow didn't know Richard Pryor was a Mason
Yea a lot of people can’t stand on their own so they join Frats and what not hoping for an advantage while us real black men stand on our own till the death, I wonder when your fellow brother died if any mason jumped in the casket with him? Doubt it, you’re born alone and you die alone
King David Lodge #7 (Providence, RI) /G\
He was from the Island of Barbados just like Crispus Attucks!!! Mind shift when you understand how deep that is and the narrative change in the mind of the youth.
Prince Hall Mason isn't a secret society but Society with secrets- (SMIB Brethren)
Until around 2003 the white branch of Free Masons did not officially recognize Prince Hall. What a shame?
Not all the way true. Certain jurisdiction s didn't.
@@mariowright1147 My point being; mofos were racist!
Since Masonry is so benevolent and pure....someone please explain these 'INNOCENT' oaths below
the Entered Apprentice:
“All this I most solemnly and sincerely promise and swear, …binding myself under no less penalty than that of having my throat cut from ear to ear, my tongue torn out by its roots, and buried in the sands of the sea, at lower water mark, where the tide ebbs and flows twice in twenty-five hours, should I, in the least, knowingly or wittingly violate or transgress this my Entered Apprentice obligation.”
Or that of the Fellow Craft degree:
“All this I most solemnly and sincerely promise and swear, … binding myself under no less penalty than that of having my left breast torn open, my heart plucked from thence, and given to the beast of the field and the birds of the air as prey; should I, in the least knowingly or wittingly; violate or transgress this my Fellow Craft obligation.”
Or that of the Master Mason:
“All this I most solemnly and sincerely promise and swear, …binding myself under no less penalty than that of having my body severed in two, my bowels torn from thence and burned to ashes, and these scattered before the four winds of heaven, that no more remembrance might be had among men or Masons of so vile a wretch as I should be, should I, in the least, knowingly or wittingly violate or transgress this my Master Mason obligation. So help me God and keep me steadfast.”
Please explain these innocent statements for those devoid of light.
Ephesians 5:11-14
King James Version
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
Thank you for the resource to use for future reference
I AM THE HIDDEN ONE!!!

hmmm...that was your takeaway? The Black Free Masons are part of a legacy of Blacks folks organizing to improve conditions for their community. I can't say I see the comparison.
