Hey Danny! I wanted to say thank you so much for all the videos that you do! I liked orchids since I was a child, probably 9 years old or less, I used to watch your videos years ago when I barely knew english as a 10 year old lol, I started watching you again lately, I got hope for having them again and got some rescues, in less than a week they're like new, and I couldn't be more grateful, stay cool! 💛🌴
That’s a beautiful black Begonia. Mom knows best.. love to grow things that are different, unusual and difficult to grow. I enjoyed the challenge, that’s why I like orchids.
The grasshopper fear reminds me of a family story. When they were kids, my dad was arguing with his younger sister and decided throw a grasshopper at her. She was too busy yelling to notice. It landed in her mouth.
Begonias have an interesting and elegant architecture that just make my eyes happy! 🙃 They are a recent addition to my list of fave little green growing things! Ok, so technically 2 out of my 3 begonias aren’t actually green at all… (hey, at least it’s due to their 🧬, not plant-abuse!) And,considering I seem to favor a number of kinda finicky slow-growers (coincidentally, that includes orchids, hoyas, and African violets 😁), I find begonias to be a refreshing change of pace.
Such pretty begonias! I haven’t gotten into them as of yet. I’ve got many things, but I’m starting to focus more on orchids, oxalis (my success is hit or Miss!), African violets, and of course Hoya. So many plants and such limited space! Anyway, I digress! Thanks for the video!
I have a bee phobia or apiphobia. Even pictures of bees gives me chills. I have gotten better but run is the first thing that I want to do when I see one. I love your begonias. I am enjoying my blooming phals right now. Thanks for your wonderful videos
Grasshoppers take one bite from each of my tomatoes. They are not welcome here. I'm in California, and it's cold right now so not many pests currently. Actually, it's a miracle they're still alive and producing fruit so I'm happy.
@@MissOrchidGirl lol, I found one in the nursery for $42 in the US and I’m sure it went in the assortment mix on accident, although a little pricy on my side but I decided to splurge and I took a propagation right away☺️
Totally see you on the fear of insects situation. I hate it how much I'm afraid of cockroaches. When spring arrives I'm already freaking out thinking about the summer months... Awful. I am seriously considering some type of therapy. Does anyone know something about it?
they really are easy. just need to know three things, well 4. first try and get plants that have ben grown close to you. the plant will be acclimated to your climate and day length/seasons. that's a good rule for all plants. but as far as care, three things. 1. bright, bright indirect light. (no direct sun) 2. 40-70% humidity. (don't mist, they don't like wet leaves) and 3. let the top 2 inches of soil dry out before you give them a really good watering with room temp distilled or filtered water, rain water, just not hard water from tap with 1/8 strength all purpose fertilizer.

To whom wondered: The Black Mamba has a small pink heart ish shaped bloom, wich grow multiple on tall stems. Source: I do own one pretty cool :))
like your source! 😆👍
Gear is a great teacher. In order to conquer fear, one must gain knowledge.
I am both a tarantula and orchid hobbyist, it’s the best of both worlds! I think a jumping spider would look adorable by the tolumnias…😂
So cool! I've never seen a black begonia.
I love begonias

I love black plants! 😍 please can you do a video on black plants.

Wow I really love that begonia! 😍❤️

I love begonias ❤ I hope you do more videos on what you learn about them in the future! You are such a great and reliable source of plant info :)
So BEAUTIFUL!

love black Iris!
I did pot up too! A Utricularia Reniformis and a Coryanthes Alborosea!
The plants are so beautiful. I will never get over my fear of spiders 🕷
never say never! 🤞
She's beautiful, I love black plants. Im just starting to get into begonias so hopefully I'll have a black mamba in the future.
If you have the space, consider raising worms for their casings. A small bin should work great and you’ll have beautiful organic compost for free.
If you like the Black Mamba check out the Black Truffle. Very similar plants. I just started one of each this fall and I love them!
That's very pretty! 👍
What color will the flowers be?

São todas muito lindas parabéns pelo seu carinho com elas.
You should check out benjiplant since you have aquarium and terrarium.

Can Begonias be compatible with orchids?? My former begonias all died when put close to orchids. The orchid corner is very humid but has amazing light
Do those all bloom?
Hey Danny! Do you plan on getting a syngonium milk confetti? And can we get an update on your vanilla?
Hi, if the plant (any non orchid plant) costs more than 30 Euros, then no, I definitely am not planning on purchasing it hihiiiii 😁

Hi, I would definitely talk to someone about it, it may help! Just be sure that you are getting real, professional help! Good luck, fingers crossed!
Where are you Dani? You mentioned an island?
yep, Cyprus :)
💚💚
Such a beautiful Plant!!! In the topic of fears I am deadly scared of butterflies and moths…
Hi
It has no similarly with orchids, what potting mix you used for this black mumba?
She was talking about similarity of care, not lineage.
Black Mamba is one of the most venomous snakes 🐍
I killed 3 rex begonias so I am running away to any begonia :(

Black Mamba is a very poisonous african snake. When I goggled Black Mamba to see if it available here the snake was the first choice.😑
Please please please get a tarantula or a jumping spider
I wouldn't hold my breath on the tarantula lol but I naturally have many jumping spiders in my plant room! They help out with the pests 😁
