I think this CD has a refreshing sound and yes it's different from their previous releases but I love it just the same. Sometimes it's not about the heavy guitar riffs, as much as I love those, sometimes it's about the way the songs feed your soul.
I've listened to the whole album "The end is where we begin" and then some and just found out this is a Christian band. WOW! These guys are brilliant! This is my favorite song. Such an angelic voice!! My new FAVORITE BAND!!
Seriously, Trevor's songs are soooo enjoyable to sing (for a mezzosoprano like me, at least) because it's a challenge but at the same time it's so gentle with your voice. I love this album because of that

The chorus actually sounds very very similiar to ending of Get out alive by 3DG, not only vocally, but also lyrics-wise :O Well, their first drummer is now Three Days Grace's drummer, so that could explaint the similiarity

daBak93 Trevor: got kind of a vision for the concept of this record before any of the songs--about a year, year plus ago--about oxygen, and there'd be an inhale and an exhale. So we were originally talking through some different ideas about putting both of them out on the same day, two new records in one day and all this stuff, and we kind of came back around to just we're going to do Inhale now and Exhale later. TFK'S album OXYGEN: INHALE is an awesome and beautiful prayer to God🙌🔥. It's beautiful, raw, organic...a natural extension of their hearts. TFK are men after God's own heart...the Father's ❤️🔥🤘.
I pray they make more albums like this without the overproduction. All albums are great! Their music is an extension of their heart. It's refreshing to hear their heart from God flowing in their lives first, and the music is secondary.
This song reflects where my relationship with Jesus Christ is. This song reflects bringing me into remembrance of my recent hostile work environment; the full range of emotions; the cuts I suffered and endured, for the Holy Spirit to heal the wounds. While working in that environment, I was walking down a dark emotional road that others could see. The steady Hand of God pulled me through; His Word had made me stronger on the inside, and I had to die to the rights of myself before the Holy Spirit could work in me and through me, a.k.a. YIELD (signed my death certificate). I could not deliver myself, only the Blood of Jesus Christ can save, rescue, redeem and deliver us. To live life right with clear eyes, not cloudy eyes...I had to let go of the pain and let God rain down His Reign on my soul.
May God's blessings and favor be upon them and all listeners.

James Chipchase this isn't country. country is just shit compared to ANYTHING. saying this is country is like saying nickleback and theory of a deadman are country. they all have heavy songs as well as slow, alternative songs. get your facts straight
wow. Hahaha. I write that 2 years ago, I didn't know all lot about what I was saying back then. I'm guessing the bend at the end of each line in the first verse and those notes just after "these neon lights lead me to you" are the reason i said it was country. I definitely didn't say it was country because it was slow. those types of bends and note are just something you would commonly hear in a slow country song. That's all.

Just disappointed about that album... many people will like that album but the core fans will listen to "Welcome to the masquerade" and older songs...
Erm... While that may be true for many, I wouldn't make such a blanket statement about the "core fans"...
Not sure what you consider a "core" fan to be, but I like to consider myself a pretty big TFK and Trevor McNevan fan... and I listen to every album that they have. Phenomenon(first TFK song I ever heard - when I was about 7), Set It Off, Art of Breaking, Welcome to the Masquerade, Flame in All of Us, The End is Where We Begin, and now Oxygen: Inhale(those are probably out of order, but I wrote them as I thought of them). I love every album by them, but my personal favorites so far are Flame in All of Us and The End is Where We Begin.
Everyone has different tastes - even among the fans. Just trying to say - please don't make a statement that's supposed to represent the fans as a whole. Thanks. :)
Tasha Anne I know i dont represent the fans but i see many comments which sounds the same. You have to admit, that the album has got a softer tone but yes i also like soft songs, but i think TFK has lost their power for what i liked TFK before. Its my personal taste, of songs which rocks, have a good rhytm and motivating lyrics. But here are just lyrics exept for the songs "Untraveled Road" and "Born This Way". I am not disappointed, because they made more soft songs before, but rather they made too much pop on Oxygen.
Anthony Massaoudi core fans? motivating lyrics? each of these songs are for the spiritual fans they wanted to build as core fans, the lyrics about god, passion, love and serenity ARE motivating dude. You just are wanting all hard rock, headbangers delight from a band that can deliver that, however they wanna glimmer with god on this album and so be it :)

Yeah, like Trevor himself said, all of the songs really have that "Thousand Foot Krutch" feel to them. Reminds me of some of my favorite (and IMO, best), TFK songs,"All I Need to Know" and "So Far Gone"! Very beautiful and excellent tracks!
Sad to say I was disappointed with this album. TFK just seems to have lost that grunge.
