Why in the world would they not make this figure pinless? All the parts already exist. The only thing separating this from other recent, pinless Wolverines is the new head and claws. This should’ve just been on the X-men 97 buck.
Likely because they are coming out with that "Orange" and yellow wolverine. So priority of the body was given to that figure. This was a niche figure to put out in the meantime.
@@DesignIncase I feel that. I guess my frustrations lie in them intentionally making a subpar figure to fill a void when the molds already exist to have made this a much better figure overall. I would have bought this AND the official brown suit if this was pinless. A fig being pinless isn’t the be all end all but the parts already existing for quite a while make this a disappointing release. That head sculpt and those claws look cool as hell though.
@@leviettri3576 The new Astonishing Wolverine torso has some costume details sculpted onto it but I definitely prefer the way the articulation works on that torso. The twist at the diaphragm just looks so much more natural than a waist swivel.
@@spadedonemcdysentery2493 aww that's a bummer really. If only hasbro was lazy enough and not sculpt actual suit details for that torso, we would've gotten a new body mold for Wolverine
Hellverine will join my collection as I’m a sucker for Wolverine variants just like Spidey. The comic was interesting. Honestly the covers were the best artwork of the character.
Still unsure if I’m going to get this guy. Maybe if I see him at a deep discount. Dwight said (in his SDCC interview with Shartimus) that the old Blaze GR was too tall and they were trying to correct it with Ketch so you’re all wrong apparently! the Daisho head looks great, I wish he sold painted stuff to normies like me.
yeah , hopping for an updated johnny blaze body, i have thee old rhino johnny blaze Gs and i use him currently as my ultimate ghost rider as the ultimate one is very tall , so i´m fne with the size difference, afterall he bacme the king of hell for a while.
Yay. Another EXCLUSIVE wave I'll Never See! @_@ Only TWO stores in my area catered to collectors, and one got shuttered thanks to an ahole landlord tripling the rent and losing all her tenants. LOL Still no word on a new location. It's been four months and counting. (PixelDan and Danhausen did video reviews there. I met Robo & VeeBs by chance there. All gone, now.) *(There is a third, but it is seriously out of my way and has banker hours. I can never get up there in time.) oh, and I completely forgot about Brood Logan. I still need that Fang (and Corsair), too. Your accent made me think you were saying HOWLverine, for HOWLett + Wolverine. This is why I call him Logan. There is only LOGAN. This figure looks cool with the flame effects, at least. Nice job to whoever sculpted that. I hope everyone who wants this wave has an easier time than I do finding it. Hasbro killing all my hobbies....
Hasbro not selling waves at retail anymore annoys me to no end. If they can sell MCU and non baf figures like retro cards at retail, they can sell baf ones there too. I don’t really have any stores that sell figures anymore near me except for GameStop. My local toy store was in a mall and they upped the rent and kicked them out of their spot, so I never see legends anymore. GameStop is the only store in my area that sell legends now and they’ve cut back on figures by like 75%. They’re nearly impossible to find now.
Honestly, I wasn’t that excited about this figure but after watching your review, he might need to join the collection! Thank you for the review mate! 👏👏👏👏👏
There’s something really fun about this wave! Maybe Hasbro missed a bit of a trick not releasing it in October (maybe on the 31st?) Hellverine, certainly is an interesting concept, and the comics now have a new Hellverine (which I believe is a resurrected Daken) Rich M @Displayedonce help me out if I’m wrong, it’s always good to get modern representations of comics in Marvel Legends form, that pre-Marvel Legends 5.5 Toybiz 1990s Wolverine bike with the claws at the front would make a great bike for Hellverine if there was a modern 6 inch version maybe on fire!
9:56 Por favor. When you do the review, try putting this chrome Hellverine head on Ghost Rider for a kinda sorta Ghost Rider 2099. Also Chamber's head for a transforming Danny Ketch. And could you try the 85th Danny head on Walmart Star-Lord, Banshee, or Corsair too? I'm curious how a Ghost Rider would look on the Vulcan buck. I think it would be good for a new classic Ghost Rider. Gracias.
Until now I don't understand why Hasbro used the body from the classic brown and orange look instead of the one from the Krakoa phase, which was the original look? Could it have been laziness?
I've seen the pics for the Secret Wars Brown suit and I don't like the colors or shape of the brown sections on him, so i think i'll buy this one and take ths arms from secret wars to have the best brown suit wolverine possible.
I on w this buck isn't pinless but at least it's not as tall as the astonishing wolverine and having the boot swivel and hinge neck gives him more articulation points than the astonishing.
I don’t have the juggernaut wave wolverine anymore sold it years ago in anticipation for an update, which we never got. So couldn’t do that comparison 🤷🏻♂️
I know it’s accurate but why the heck are his bare skin arms showing? Isn’t the whole ghost rider thing essentially supposed to turn you into a full flaming skeleton essentially?
This character just got introduced in the comics less than a year ago and has a figure already but ironically hasbro still after 20+ years still hasn't done Exodus & Graviton
I don’t see the house of x wolverine at all, I see the juggernaut baf wave wolverine with new hands and head. It’s crazy how marvel legends can release such phenomenal figures, astonished cyclops, and wolverine, superior Spider-Man etc, then they go and release this garbage, a body mold from 2016 with some new hands and head. 8 year old buck getting released in 2024… retire this thing jeez
Why did they name it “weapon of vengeance” on the box? Are they too scared to put the word “hell” on there? Just like they were too afraid to make a mephisto because he’s a devil like character?

Wolverine not being able to reach the pedal is just adorable. Can you imagine how mad he would be😂
Sorry all out of height
Wasn't in my sights for the next wave. You are tempting me now. Appreciate the review.
Keep up the great work brother 👑

I am a sucker for anything Ghostrider. This one I want just because. It will look good on the shelf.
I'm gonna use those "hot claws" for a custom Pete Wisdom "hot knives" hands.
We definitely need a Pete Wisdom figure with some hot knife hand accessories
I wanna cast them in a magenta resin to make Gambit-powered claws for my 97 Wolverine!

I didn't know the story of this version of Wolverine and I really want to add to my the collection! 🔥
Thank you very much 🤜🤛
Ist review Dan. Congratulations 🎊. A solid wave def must have. 👍👍
When Hellverine freezes over!

Johnny Blaze using that old Starlord is definitely too tall. I just wish the beefed up Ketch’s boots to give him a smidge more height.

Im a fan of ghost rider , but that classic brown skin wolverine body is just 🔥 a must-have for head swaps. mines will be shipped in oct 1st
Where do you get these so early ?
Oh nooo. These weren’t supposed to start dropping till October or November.

Is it Daken or Logan?
It’s Logan, the Daken version has a slightly different costume I believe
Not really impressed with the comics so far, but the figure looks good. The flaming clawed hands really take it over the line.
Please review dracula next
The figure is more of the juggernaut wave Wolverine body
I’m not sure how long Dan has been collecting I only started watching his channel a year ago but he might not have been collecting then.
oooou cant wait to see the dracula😁😁
displayed once?
"AKA hAAaalllverine"
Iam a wolverine collector, whatever other people says are their opinion, i dont care i will buy it
Would of like to see head swap on the ghost rider
Wait wait wait wait….. Dan…. You do reviews?
No, I don’t. This is a dream 💭
So annoying they don’t have pinless joints or more accessories/hands.
might get him and put unmasked logan head on him.
HALverine or HELLverine?
This is like sophie's choice!

This is one Wolverine figure that I can pass on. And I'm glad we're back to window boxes, but could they make them as less boring and generic?
