I always wondered why I loved WBL so much. I hate melodrama, especially if it focuses only on love. If it was a boy-girl drama, I would have long dropped it. But then I realized because it's Sam and YU. Absolutely brilliant acting, realistic feelings, and you can actually believe it! That's something new. I don't think any other actor could have made me hooked on such type of drama. Not even my favourite Chinese actor or actress. I actually tried some of them only to lose my cool and then drop it. I truly believe WBL and those chaotic brothers, especially Sam and YU, totally changed my view on many things plus helped me to realize a lot of things and become a better person.

This song is possibly meant for another person who is dear to the heart. But I derived it as a telling your own younger version that "I remember you". Or perhaps a small part, a character. For example, Zhou Shuyi was brought to life by YU. A character became a part of your journey forever. "You're forgotten by all, that's when I remember you". If you think it like YU is fondly remembering or encouraging one of his creations, it's not like this story won't fit with this aesthetic representation of life. That's my interpretation of this song. Why should I take a more literal meaning? ❤
