I remember this place on another channel it was a real freak show. Power was on, water was on, alarms was steady going. All those TV's stacked was on playing static. The air-conditioner in the first room u went in was left on, water dripping down the fuse panel, stoves left on. I'm actually surprised this place didn't burn down before power got cut off. Excellent video.
@@haweater1555 I think the guys turned the TV's on. But everything else from where they first came in was running. Looked like a group of people was having way too much fun, then some reason all left at the same time. The entire floor was flooded out. Can't seem to find the video now. At the start of it they stood at the entrance taking about" guys I don't know about this one" . Like they didn't know if they wanted to go in. I wouldn't have hearing all the alarms going full blast.
Some of the Items in this hotel makes me think either southern ontario or western new york because I recognized a store brand on a couple of things from the bar into the kitchen including the skylon tower and the minolta tower in the bar area also
Cool video. They did not consult an interior decorator with the pink doors and the rust and gold rooms. Ouch. Just saw the “penthouse.” Double ouch. The owner never threw away anything. Too funny! Thanks for sharing. ❤️ PS If you are ever on the the highway at 2 am and need a room, you might find one of these treasures. We did years ago in Tennessee. The floor was spongey and the smoke smell actually gave me a bronchial infection. Awful. 😂 PSS doesn’t matter how old a business like this is, the seventies just overwhelmes any other decades. Shared this on FB. My brother worked maintenance in a hotel in the 80s. It’s now abandoned and on RUclips in an abandoned video.
After having just moved a 1972 Crescent pool table today, in 2 trips w/ 5’ x 9’ trailer, one would need at minimum 4 people to ‘steal’ a pool table of that era ! : ) the slate weighs 2x the table! @ 19:44
Too bad... my impression is... that at one point someone spent a fair amount of money and effort to keep an old, inner city hotel reasonably presentable shape.
Hi there Noah. What a dump. It's too bad that it hasn't been saved. I'll have a large coke please. Haha! Really liked that staircase. Beautiful woodwork. Thank you for the tour and take care.
Wow that is old. I was born in the 70's lol Nice explore! Loved the staircase. Just wish someone had bought and turned it into something worthwhile. Great job Noah!
This property breaks my heart 😔Sooo very vandalized 😔For the life of me, I don’t understand how people can come in & get pleasure out of destroying property 😒 If they could use something or would cherish it, just take it, use it & love it...but don’t destroy it 😞 Someone else may need it👍 The banisters were beautiful! Why wasn’t the usable furniture & items donated rather than having it go to waste 😟 The bricks on the outside of the property could be saved, restored& repurposed. Breaks my heart to see this go to waste!!! Thank you for sharing this epic location, I truly enjoyed it ❤️PS Thank you for being safe & wearing your mask!!!❤️
Did you do the drone footage before or after the main filming? After seeing that roof in a state of collapse, I'd be scared sh** less. Lol. Also, I think the "penthouse " suite was probably for the caretaker or hotel owner? Just a guess. Great video as usual!! Happy Holidays to all. P.s.%here is so much cool stuff in that place!!
All those doors would have had transom windows that would have tilted into the room. You can see where there covered up but the door frame goes much higher than the door. They did dumb shit like this to old buildings in the 50s 60s and 70s covered up paneled doors with cheap luann board, to remove the character. Such a tragedy. Not to mention the cheap wood paneling. Oh and drop ceiling everywhere. This building was much more ornate than it is now. Staircase is the best part and the only thing worth saving.
I was homeless almost three Yrs on the streets of Memphis TN and even though being having to sucomb to those conditions wherever we find refuge they don't look like that I promise I've been to abandoned homes and lived in several and they're kept like one that was actually renting or owned by the occupant in a tidy fashion so the stereo type of way your describing the homeless is alittle hurtful and make you look unprofessional in your work I was actually fixing to sub but your assessment of what you don't know stops me In My pushing that sub button
Too bad they couldn't be fixed up for homeless people...it seems such a waste
It's a massive waste of a hotel for sure
The glass was there so whoever was living there could hear someone coming up the steps
To me it’s so stupid to let it go to shit when homeless people could have had somewhere safe to stay and maybe pay a minimal rent
It's very stupid but unfortunately happens alot
When you get off the bus or train at the station in Niagara Falls, Canada, this is the first thing you see.
Such a shame that they could not fix that and use it at least as a shelter for people in need!
Makes me wonder why the food and furniture wasn't donated when they shut the place down. Such a waste! Great explore, Noah. Stay safe. ☮️❤️
Same here, after seeing so many places like this I think the same thing

The vision of all those TVs on static screens sounds like it was set up that way for shooting a music video.

What you are calling the penthouse is likely where the owner or manager lived. Lots of motels/hotels had those back in the day. Cool place
Such a waste, alot of reusable items in there. Also really surprised homeless haven't moved in - mattresses, blankets, chairs....
Great video, Noah! Glad you take someone with you in these places! Also glad you wear a respirator mask! Alan should also wear one!
Thanks Karen! Better to be safe and wear a mask in places like this

Definitely getting a late 70s/early 80s vibe from this. Great find Noah! ❤
I bet it was nice when it was first opened. Its amazing it had so many owners.Staircase was nice.Stay safe young man.
I was suprised to find out it's changed hands so many times as well, thanks for watching Kelly!

Places like this remind of that movie and book, The Road.
it looked like it was a busy place when it was open
Thanks for the video 👍
Love old places and old houses
Reading some of the comments is hilarious from save it for the homeless to how sad that people can come in there and tear things up .

That very top floor is probably the managers apt.
Can’t imagine sleeping on any of those mattresses I don’t care how many sheets you put on top of it
Awesome video there's a lot of antiques there that can beer that was in the floor looked from the 70s Schlitz
costing too much to keep it running, good video keep them coming
Hotel is located Niagara Falls Ontario, I recognize some of the Tops labels on the food which is probably from Niagarafalls Ny
That place probably didn't have bathrooms in every room originally
Interesting hotel thanks for sharing 😊
10:00 It would be freaky, if entering the room, all those TVs lit up and started staring at you.
Insane video man
Thanks man!
Those corks are expensive to buy now.
Too bad it wasn't turned into a shelter before it decayed
The room with all the TVs that’s what happens when you can’t decide what channel you want to watch😂😂
The eery feeling of the history of that building is pretty creepy.
Oh man. I have a chair in the same floral on brown print.🤦🏼♀️lol
I sec into it I say it must be savri no matter what it costs..,,I must keep watching
somebody had a party trashing this place
Wow, orange paper. Kool
Nice seating
I was expecting that coke bottle to be Nuka Cola instead.
Wow a lot of furniture
Could have had converted into apartment for the homeless. Just wondering.
It could have but they never seem to do it
Look at the table

Alan scared me when he popped out.
He's was just checking on ya, don't be scared haha
The room up on second floor across from the mirror room looked like lady standing there when you panned across.

Love your video
Thanks Trina!

Wow, tv room
I hate the look of the banister.. Stomach drop..
Where is this hotel? Those TVs are nice. I have some similar to it
That your dad on explore with ya? Lol

I couldn't understand the mumbling through the mask. Maybe skip the dialogue & just make a silent video.
I'll pass on doing that, you're always free to mute the video if you wish
