I saw him play in Shanghai, and i have to say he was just so so, although when he did a mix at Home in London he rocked it, 'for an angel' released in 1998 kicked off the trance scene, loved his early stuff, words etc, out there and back was a great album too.

Autowill Reflections, Out there and Back, Seven Ways, and 45 RPM are his best albums. I can listen to reflections on repeat though, I love the ambient, World sound of it. Very smooth too.

God I miss van Dyk when he was Trance in the 90's. Fucking yanks trying to make it their scene 15-20 years later. Pathetic Only you lot could make EDM sound like a bad tasting medicine like Benylin. In all fairness you got Depeche Mode pretty quick, so why not this? Oakenfold's latest stuff is incredible though. For An Angel = Best van Dyk tune.
