Well I am sorry guys, this must be one of the most misleading videos on YT. Especially in Kerala , being a house surgeon is one of the most hectic jobs out there . We have to pull 24,48 and 72 hrs continuous working hours at times , doing the most menial of jobs , without receiving an iota of appreciation. I don't mean to be condescending to the owner of the video, but the truth is that this video is the exception rather than the rule.
Yeah i agree about the latter parts bt it's not misleading , some days are busier than other and some are very bsy that even the word hectic doesn't do it justice.....

This job sucks! I actually don't like the night shifts.The money is good but I prefer a proper schedule so I like when there are regular working hours.It is prestigious and not very hectic but I don't like when I have a night shift.

How could u manage to assist a c-section without wearing an apron before scrubbing? U r gonna definitely get a shower of amniotic fluid once the uterus is incised!
You get to don an apron AFTER you are scrubbed inside the OR
I don’t think that’s the right way! I’m an obstetrician and putting on plastic apron beforehand will only save you from the gush of AF while performing/assisting a c-section. What’s the purpose of donning then!
@@doctorvibes In my institute, we donned the apron after scrubbing and entering into the OR followed by gloves. It also makes switching between two ORs and patients easier. You leave behind the apron and gloves, scrub and move to another OR where patient is prepared only to don a fresh apron and set of gloves in.
Yh.. v abandon all the used ones to wear fresh. Wear the plastic apron before scrubbing so that even ur OT coat never gets wet while doing so and wear cloth ones after, followed by two pairs of sterile gloves! Which makes the procedure easy and confident!
