I love that Junhoe doesn't rely on love songs but rather on everyday worries. There's always a hint of saddens and longing in his songs. This one about the difference between a child and a grownup and the fact that he is in both places right now as he tries to desperately hold on to the child's joy inside him. Sapporo is a beautiful song about how cruel life is and holding out his hand to another friend who is also hurting so they can be together in a place that provides comfort to their hearts. I think JUNHOE is hurting, he is confused and tired but he wants to hold on to something that makes him happy. He is in at sea where his thoughts are rocking the boat pretty hard, the true adolescent stage he never got to experience as a kid because he was too focused on training.
