I remember listening to the 'children are a bad idea' crap at assemblies well over 40 years ago - they don't even mention it now because they are losing so many people, their only increase now is those unlucky enough to be born in to this vile cult.

You could only wish Jehovah’s people you can bring down but it’s not going to happen. Nobody can defeat Jehovah. Nobody from the past, none in the present and still none in the future.
You don’t know the truth. Even worst probably you don’t even recognise the only true God.
They’re not a cult either. You simply do not know what you’re talking about. Jehovah’s Witnesses knew who motivates you and why? It’s been foretold a long long time ago by no less than Christ himself.

There's another problem with 'having no children in this system': there's no natural growth in the Watchtower. I suspect there's even negative growth. At least in Europe and 'Western countries', but please correct me if I'm wrong.
Over here in the Netherlands JWs tend to have small families. Just one, two children max. I remember when I was a bible study being a bit frowned upon by my 'teacher sister' for having three children. The small families create another problem: how to find a 'marriage mate in the Truth'? There's not a great lot to choose from. So families are more and more getting intertwined. Or are looking for a fitting partner via 'JWmatch'. A recipe for maybe not the best marriages....
And another problem: for children (who are brought up isolated from their 'wordly' peers) it means just a very, very small group of peers to pick your 'friends' from.
In my former congregation there weren't that many children or teenagers. It just doubles down on the isolation...😢
Intermarriage producing many children with more genetic defects in due course. There's a handful of families all intermarried where I am, let's hope the next generation of these families find new blood.

61 years ago at age 16 my family and I was traveling to California to attend the convention held at the Rose Bowl. During our trip we met a young couple who were JW’s also and they had a young son they named Judah. They said they were going against the wishes of ‘the society’ but they didn’t regret it. That always stuck with me.

What would Jehovah witness think of this. Sick and injured bethalites being made homeless without treatment by Jehovah's organisation.

and the blood doctrine. that doctrine really impacts if the infant has Rh factor issues and would and could have a normal life without that doctrine and for new mothers leaving orphans. think for a second how sad that really is.

I remember in the early 90s a jw convert i worked with told me he got crap for having kids and he told them to f off. He eventually became an elder. When i got married in 92 my wife and i never ever discussed having kids and made sure she was on birth control. All i can say is THANK GOD i never had kids in that organization.

I think as you get older less and less people talk to you and this is why I think so many sisters become over zealous and spiteful to the young sisters and try to “coach them” into loneliness. Most of their dramas (especially as of late) involve some lonely old woman trying to guilt trip a young girl to not go to the bar with her friends or someone skipping out on their dreams to come sit with old people at meetings 3 times a week.
I remember hearing these talks as well when I was a witness it is not up to the organization to tell people whether or not to have children. Have children don’t have children it is up to the couple not them. It shouldn’t even be open for discussion when it’s nobody’s else’s business. It was just another attempt to use the Bible or Jehovah as an excuse not to have children. It’s also one of the many reasons why I got fed up with them and left this organization in the dust.

😅this year convention was showing music videos (the ones shown before the program starts), of a couple with holding babies and smiling! Not one couple it was like continually showing one from another😅when this was shown I understood WT is nowadays desperate knowing they are not having anymore young ones, they need to show message to have babies. But the problem is this org have nerve to show such music video but other hand in Aug. BC will show such video as Don’t get frustrated not having a child, so which is it!?😮

Slowly, more are waking up to realise that Armageddon ( mountain of Megiddo ) is a spiritual reference to old covenant Jerusalem.
The book of Revelation sets the pattern starting with Revelation 11:8 where Jerusalem is spoken of spiritually as Sodom and Egypt. Jerusalem is also spoken of as a harlot and Babylon the Great. ( Revelation 17:5 ) These are spiritual references.
The book of Revelation was written to the first century Christians, it is over.

Revelation, too, describes the "New Jerusalem coming down from heaven" as a “bride adorned for her husband” (Rev. 21:2). This “husband and bride” refers to Jesus and the church (Rev. 19:7-9, Eph. 5:25-27)! Revelation goes on the say this would happen “soon, for time is near” (Rev. 22:6-10)-which means it was about to happen when Revelation was written.
If so, why do we still see governments dominating man to his injury? Where is the peace and good health? Why do we still see a ruining of the earth ?

The Bible says that a thousand years is like one day to Jehovah. (2Peter 3:8) We live only a couple of hours in Jehovah's eyes. Jehovah doesn't view time the same way we do. That's why we must show a "waiting attitude" like the prophet Micah. (Micah 7:7) Those who've made the sacrifices of not having families will receive many times more in the new system. (Luke 18:29, 30) We shouldn't invest too much in a system that'll soon be destroyed. For me personally, I don't stress over trying to do as many things as possible before I get too old because I know I'll have all eternity to do the things I want to do in the new system. In Jehovah's new world, we'll live forever, so there'll be no emphasis on time. Currently in this system, people are constantly rushing trying to get things done, and that's not God's way. He didn't intend for us to have all of these anxieties.

@CoolBreeze250; the problem is that the Watchtower Society's Governing Body has cherry-picked certain Bible verses, taken them out of context with their chapters, and misinterpreted them to suit their misguided beliefs.
Here are some important facts that most people don’t know about. The Corporation, aka the organization, created their first custom made new world translation “bible” in 1950, which contained the NT. The KJV that they were using before then was giving them a lot of problems, which is why they needed cease all use of the KJV, and to create their very own custom made “bible,” Witch had drastic changed all in which were done to support their key doctrines.
Over the years they came up with Newer Revised Editions one of which was the first complete nwt that contained the OT and NT in 1961. Since then newer revised editions have came out. Here are the rest of their New Revised Editions in order: 1970, 1971, 1981, 1984, 2013… all of which contained more and more changes like verses removed, words removed, words changed, new words added, commas and periods moved around, verses restructured, parts of chapters removed, etc.
Nothing like that can be found in scripture.
The scripture you quoted does NOT say a thousand years are as a day to "Jehovah." The verse you quoted is about Christ the "Lord" and His return.
None more confused than the witnesses.
You have vomitted the organization , why go back and backbite it. What alternative do you give to people you are trying to influence?
To follow the christ instead of uninspired men who get things wrong that affects ppls lives now and in the future.. THAT is the alternative my friend!
