Woo!! You did it! It was torture huh? I am sorry! Impressed by all the instruments you play. Especially the banjo - that looks so confusing. And it’s cool that you transcribe fiddle tunes on sax and Eddie Barbash! I need to start doing that. Well done!! Don’t forget to nominate 3 others ;) Spread the torture!
Brooo thank you it was the good kind of torture 😂🙈 thank you man I really appreciate it!! And OMG I literally forgot to nominate people rip I’ll edit the description 😅
This is my Music Teacher 💀😂🤣. He can literally play all of these instruments that you played and watching this video was like: WOW that’s literally him. Thanks for this video it was really fun to watch you switch between instruments so easily like that. I’m an Alto player and this is really motivation for practicing.
I've only found your channel maybe a months ago. You did this challenge 2yrs ago 😳. Wow, you multitude of instruments. Super impressed❤.... 🤔Wondering if you ever tried to do the challenge again? Ps. I did read your small print comment about practicing. My limited musical experience found it to be Truth.
CONGRATULATIONS . Pal l think you pasted. All those instruments plus Tin whistle plus the electronic wind instruments and l bet clarinet and more. GOOD SHOW
Dude how many instruments can you play? I feel like most musicians in the US play like 10 different instruments. I know so many musicians from austria, Switzerland and Germany and they are all impressed when I tell them that I play 3 instruments
Hey Frankie! Sorry, ik it's an old video but I was wondering, when doing overtones do you focus on matching the pitches you're playing or do you just work on getting them out with good tone quality?
I don’t really do any ear training warm ups necessarily but I’m always taking patterns/transcriptions/tunes through 12 keys all by ear which I think is one of the best things to do!
12 hours of horn time can actually be really bad if your embouchure isn't up to it. Played at a jam session for 6 hours once after a 2 week layoff; had to ice my lips for the next week.

Thanks so much Joaquin🥺
You passed the challenge very well ^_^
Thank you:)
I swear the tune you were recording on guitar sound like Yeah Right
7:10 I have just realized that flute and bossa beat reminds me of classic Price is Right bumper cues.

Thanks so much! 😊I haven’t tried the challenge again!
Oh my god I can’t sit still when I practice either. Especially for scales I just physically cannot
I KNOW RIGHT idk why but I always have to pace! Glad I’m not alone 😱
I just gotta say, the command you have over the alto is just, downright shocking.
@@natetota3946 oh man you’re too kind thanks so much 🥺🙏🏻

Oh man I mainly just play saxophone that’s what I’ve put the most time into and am most proficient at!
It’s a jazz thing. Especially woodwinds. Me personally I play the 7 main jazz woodwinds (4 saxes 2 clarinets and flute) Along with trumpet

Tone quality mostly
Do you do any ear training warmups and would you have any good ones to recommend?

Ah ok makes sense. Would you say playing piano helps a bit? I usually try playing notes on the piano and then playing what it would be on alto.
@@tychos.5910 yeah that’s definitely good transposition practice!!
@@FoolishFrankie Yeah I started doing it and then saw Saxologic trained his ear doing that so I was like perfect 😂
Am I supposed to warm up before I record? I usually just blast a few notes out so the reeds know to behave.
Also, I remember pacing while I practiced in a tiny UNT practice room. Probably had enough room to take 2 small steps before I had to turn around.
LOL😂 and true that was always the issue is you can’t pace 😂
