After playing CSGO for ages I need to quit because I'm definitely not buying a new CPU just for a single game. I used to have 300 fps in CSGO, and now I have 90, with even lower dips. This may not sound bad, but on a 144hz monitor it is a very choppy experience
@@PutrescereBear Mate, you don't have experience with just how choppy 60 Hz feels after 144 Hz, it feels like playing at 20 fps. Playable framerate is relative. But since every other game runs just fine on my PC, I'mma pass CS2
my laptop has an i5-10210u and was running csgo in no lower than 50-60 fps, now with cs2 its lesser than 30, i guess its the end for low end gamers. My cpu is actually pretty fine, but the laptop came with no gpu so thats why

You also have to keep in mind that playing with 9 other players usually cuts fps in half compared to solo.

In this video: 33% loss on average in FPS from CS:GO to CS2.
For me, its more like 40% less FPS. GTX 1070ti with R5 1600.
Probably because your cpu, i had a 2600x + GTX 1070 100fps and now with my 5700x I got 200fps
Actually it's 40%+ in this video too. Top left shows that GPU is utilised at 99% while CsGo GPU is at 70% as it is bottlenecked by something else
