    Question. The Paraguayan Temporary Residency is good for two years yet the Cedula is good for ten years. How does that work? Does your Cedula expire if you don't apply for the for Permanent Residency within the two years or is the Cedula still good for the 10 years after your temporary residency expires?

    I do eventually want to move to another country to get permenent residency or citizenship I'm thinking either Belize, Paraguay, Ecuador, Barbados,Argentina.

    (Hi thanks for the video) I have an advanced question: I'm wondering if I can get my days in for each of the 1st 2 years without having to (stay there for more than a year.., or) fly there and then fly back again the 2nd year... so QUESTION IS: When having to stay for at least 1 day during each of those first 2 years of temporary residency.. Do they allow you to spend 1 day from Jan 1st to Dec 31st of each of those 2 years? OR.. Do they start counting days from the day you apply?.. so that if I applied in 2025 and flew there in Dec of 2025, and stayed there for 2 months) until Jan of 2026... Would all those days only count as my FIRST year? (since they were all within the first 365 days of me living there?) OR would it count as 30 days in the "1st year" and another 30 days in the "2nd year"?

    I’m an American looking to emigrate to Paraguay, do you have a recommendation for a lawyer I could hire in Asunción to help me with this?

      For sure. I really liked the lawyer I used, and I can verify it’s not a scam, as those are easy to find with lawyers in Paraguay. If you email me I can introduce you nicole@nomadneeks.com

    Congratulations for your residency! I am looking into Paraguay too, seems like an interesting option.
    What documents did you need to apply for residency? Did you get them checked in the Paraguayan embassy in your home country?
    Thank you

      Thank you! The documents are slightly different depending on your country, but yes they need to go through the Paraguay consulate in your country for authentication

    Yeahhh Im American Egyptian and I haven't lived in the US for over 8 years I live in the UAE and absolutly love it I do not want to move back to the US unfortunatly once I start working( I just graduated college) I will still have to report my bank accounts and pay my US taxes no matter where I live in the world. yayyy

    • @omarsmusic4316
      @omarsmusic4316 11 месяцев назад

      @@RC94332 Yeah I know some people do that so they don't have to pay taxes I personally wouldn't want to do that because, one I still have lots of family and friends in the US I wouldn't be able visit them without getting a visit visa. 2. The Egyptian passport is very weak and I can't travel to many countries on it I think its like 60 countries where as the US passport is 174 countries. 3. Living in the UAE a lot of things are easier for me just by me being American. Example I got my UAE drivers lisence in a few hours I just had to translate my US drivers lisence in to Arabic by a certified legal translator and brought the translation and my US lisence to the police station and they gave me my UAE lisence within a few minutes other nationalities they don't usually accept their drivers lisence from their home countries as valid in the UAE because the driving test might not be similar to the UAE's driving test so some other nationalities would have to retake the test. I would get a higher salary just by being American as opposed to being only Egyptian but a also a lot of that would depend on company though but generally thats the case. But I what I think I am going to do instead to reduce my taxes to to keep my foriegn income below I think its 108 thoushand dollars I don't remember the exact number. I doubt I would make anywhere near that much. There is a provision in US tax law called the foeign income exclusion. So thats a possible option.

      Paraguay doesn’t offer dual citizenship, you will need to revoke your other passports to become a Paraguay citizen.

    • @workwealthandtravel
      @workwealthandtravel  Год назад

      It may be outdated. There is no list, that’s why I recommend hiring a lawyer for this process so they can do the steps for you. The process can also change at a moments notice, as it did right before I got started. My lawyer took me to each building and did the process for me. It only took a few hours of my time and they handled the rest. Happy to pass along their contact if you would like.
