- While I was down I tried coming up with different ways to still stay active in the Trucking Industry, while dealing with my legal issues, I tried to save other people’s assets from being snatched by the repo man, but I learned a valuable lesson and lost some friendships along the way, check it out….

Sounds the business failed because of the drivers you hired. You made every correct business decision besides hiring those lazy non motivated drivers.
What they can’t take from you is the knowledge & wisdom. You’ll be back on soon enough.

I learned from my cargo van OTR.. now I have my straight truck and I have a consistent contract delivering from north Carolina to south Carolina. I'm home almost everyday . All that hustle run run run will eventually burn you out. I keep it simple and easy..

If anyone has any size box truck please hold on to it. Trust me you'll thank me later . anything under 26000 lbs doesn't require ifta , CDL or any high insurance costs.. so trust me hold on to it and you'll have a gem of wealth with it just like they did all the way back to colonial times

TQL or bust. That’s how 😂
You will have to hustle your ass off and polish up your people skills, and talk to every broker from various load boards as you can.
My first few months were with 3 brokers; TQL, ASM, and Trident Transport. DAT Load Board was my breakfast, lunch and dinner. I stalked that load board 10hrs a day, even while driving 😅
You have to accept some loads that pay cheap, but definitely where you can turn some type of profit. You will have to build some form of rapport with these brokers. Because to them.. you're some schmuck carrier, itching to jackknife your trailer with precious cargo that their responsible for.
It won't be pretty..
There WILL be blood..
You must remain persistent and vigilant.
