Yes we do but can we pull in some that showcase the great qualities of the black female and not just the stereotypical beliefs of what those outside of the black community believe about black men and women. There are black female shows that exist showcasing black women excellence. Characters that are levelheaded, smart, self aware, independent, financially stable, strong, career oriented that don’t need a man to define them but is able to have a man to compliment them without losing who they are. And this is DEFINITELY NOT that show.

I watched this show in the beginning on and off. I was being so so Critical about it. I stopped watching but I came back and started watching again. At this point I realized that I was being so so critical and shut my over critical but down only to realize that I related to these beautiful, talented women. ❤

Andi - beautiful as always. Karen and Fatima - killing the rivalry roles over Zach attention. Sabrina - reserved and refined but could be naughty at the same time. Then the other active and lively lady... Wow these ladies are giving us a good and interesting show

What is definitely one of my favorite shows since day one. Is there any looks beautiful. I love that makeup and hair on her in the dress. KJ know she was looking sharp I love that dress. Crystal/Fatima is always sharp just like Kj Andi I'm so happy for her. I knew Karen's character not having fans can be tempting to take that personal. She does an amazing job acting just like Garys character does. I guess I need to start remembering the real name LOL
Karen, a.k.a. Ebony obsidian. Yeah, I know. I think she knows that too, but I think the drive for her is to continue portraying her role as only she could. I say this because no one can actually portray the role the way she does. Like they could not recast her character. As Karen because no one would be able to do that. At least that’s what I think. Well, I may not be the biggest fan of caring particularly. But I truly admire the actual actress. She’s young. Ebony obsidian who portrays Karen, is only 30. I’d like to see her in other roles, and as a matter of fact, she has a upcoming movie that’s going to be on Netflix 68 or something like that I may not be saying that right. But it’s the new movie on Netflix is going to be on December 20, and it stars Ebony obsidian. A.k.a. Karen. So and if you notice she does not have that accent. She sounds really very nice and pleasant and like she’s a nice person in real life. I’m sure she is.❤❤ 6:00

Tyler Perry chose a beautiful cast ensemble each and every individual is amazing what they do with their character and their art. They portrayed these roles. We get to see the things that people truly have endured in real life with relationships ups and downs. Good or bad. These ladies are able to portray this role. And they are so gifted at what they do. Ebony obsidian is beautiful. Crystal renee Haslet is beautiful. Know my brown is beautiful. Mignon Vaughan is beautiful. Cmon Tamara. Can we reflect on some strong, self aware, secure, confident black female shows and not the stereotypical beliefs that this show reinforces to degrade the black community. Why is it the worst most ugliest portrayals of black men and women are always celebrated and praised as entertainment by the black community. Every black woman is not recklessly promiscuous, don’t know who her baby daddy is, or conducts their personal business at their place of employment. And every black man is not abusive, self centered, cheater, womanizer, a criminal or unsure of his sexuality. But this gets congratulated while reinforcing what those outside of the black community already believe is truth about all black men and women. Don’t get mad when those outside of the black community call this out because of what has been projected as believable.
I do like this show and I watch it every week. But last week I did not understand why the girl at the airport said to her guy that she was going to go down on him anyway. I do not understand what that had to do with the scene at all. I had to rewind two times to make sure that's exactly what she said. I also do not understand why Fatima is with Zack on the show but there's a spin-off called zatima and she's with Zack and nobody will explain that to me. I don't get that show I only get sisters. I also do not understand why they are so racist on the show. They say things that I would not be allowed if the tables were turned. I don't want to repeat it here but people must know what I'm talking about. If someone on a show like friends said that's so and so went off with some black b**** it wouldn't be allowed but somehow it's allowed when we're talking on this show that's so-and-so went off with a white b****. The karen long, interminable pregnancy, andy's terrible make up make the show unappealing. The rise of Fatima is the best. Characters are like they don't known what they want. Complexe and confusing.
