@@ernestorio3550 I don't think the shield should be detached during transformation. If you look carefully, the shield got a swing arm that connected to the arm part. I have MG Zeta, and based on the design, the shield will stay on the arm. And when both arm's shoulder already folded in, the shield swing arm will move the shield to the center position and locking it.
It would likely do multiple steps simultaneously. The torso would shift up, and the arms, legs, and wait would all convert at the same time. We see that the arms fold under the belly, so the shield being unequipped beforehand would be unneeded. All that's left would be the wings folding over to cover what used to be the front. The knees and feet are self-explanatory.

That's is why the ReZel exist. They simplified the transformation for mass production in the lore. Although I haven't tried buying a ReZel gunpla yet. I would like to see their transformation

I have the perfect grade rx78 ( the first one) and it's quite old, it basically has no waist movement, it's quite amazing how these have evolved throughout the years
Every decade or so, someone makes a simple and intuitive aesthetic decision that is the definitive masterpiece within their genre. In this case, it's your choice to use that song with this footage.

I don't know about the shield, but in the anime, when Zeta transforms, it first reaches back above its shoulder to mount the rifle to its back. For the Hyper Mega Launcher I guess it'd need to first attach that to the back of the shield and then transform.
Newtyoes have telekinesis. Confirmed because the Unicorn Gundam's sheilds do not have thrusters, but they zip around in space at the flick of Benahger's fingers.
Zeta Gundam is founding father of transformable Gundam or Mobile Suit. The concept or idea of transformable Gundam later used on the future Gundam series to create new Gundams or Mobile Suits which inspired from Zeta or other transformable Mobile Suits from UC.
Bandai puts so much effort into the zeta’s transformation and for every other transformable mobile suit they just go “lol just slap the shield on the head and call it a day”
I do wonder what kind of gundam would Shoji Kawamori would design that had full transformation, yes I know the GP01 was designed by him too but it's more on the core fighter + unit's backpact aspect than a full transformation like valkyries
Not to rain on anyone's parade, but I had three thoughts while watching this video: 1. That's what you call a "more streamlined" Waverider mode? 2. The Macross Valkyrie changes shape a lot faster than this thing. 3. Watch it get shot full of holes while trying to latch on the bits that come off during its transformation.
In the Anime it's almost in an instant, but most of the time Waverider mode is only ever used when the situation calls for speed or athmospheric re entry........ So most of the time MS form is used by default
And now imagine the Zeta from the anime doing this in a mere few seconds. Insane.

かなり前のキットとはいえ、1/60で再現したのもだけど、数年経って、ほぼおんなじ変形機構をこれより小さい1/100で再現したってのもすげぇ事だよな

ZのMA形態を思い出すと分かる事なんだが、胴体ではなく両の脚部にメインジェネレーターやら主推進系を突っ込んでるんだと
胴体内部がスカスカ過ぎてその辺のを入れられん上、MA形態でちょうど推進力系が足に集中するようになるとかで･･･
通常MSであれば胴体にジェネレーターが、背部バックパックやらに推進系が合って色々安定な構造してるところが、ZのMS形態は色々と足に集まりまくってて機体バランスが悪い
Zは操作がピーキーで上級者向けの使いにくさってのはこの辺から来てるそうな
Zはもちろん、リガズィでさえこのバランスの悪さからは逃れられてないとかなんとか
