Great tips! One trick I learned by watching a pro was to alternate your squeegee for inside and out. Meaning, Run the squeegee from top to bottom outside, and then left to right inside If you wind up with streaks, and most of us non-pro's will until we get the hang of it - you will know whether the streak is inside or out based on how they run!
Another amazing video! Wow, I just can't believe the level of detail in everything you do! The perfect tools, everything is perfect. I want to be a professional cleaner.
I used your technique a few weeks ago on my inside windows and I felt like a new person with how bright and shiny my house was! Your microfiber made a world of difference. I recently found those long skinny brushes you picked up in Japan and now I'm going to have to clean my tracks again because I know they can be better. 😂
Thank you for explaining as well as your very good easy to follow directions.i have made so many mistakes...now I will just do what you say and get the job done.
I have original 1921 double hung windows that are single piece of glass on the bottom, but 9 pieces on the upper. 4 windows across. I would love to learn how to clean those uppers.
Great job! Although I have a squeegee, I've never seen a microfiber scrubber like the one you used, and definitely could use it here. We have *lots* of windows and are particular about keeping them clean, so every tip helps! Thanks again for a very helpful video
you should look at using ONR for your bucket solution, it's made for rinseless car washing but it's streak-free and the polymers encapsulate the dirt into the solution so having a dirty bucket isn't a problem, also it's extremely lubricating so using it as a lube for the steel wool is no problem (car guys use it as lube for clay-bars) It's really a miracle solution, and super cheap, the only catches are it's not food-safe and doesn't handle grease that great
Such a great video! Thanks! It’s cold in wisco right now but if we get a warmer day I might give this a shot. If not, it’ll be done in the spring! What kind of brush did you use for the screens? I put a junky towel on the hard surface like a patio when cleaning the screens. I don’t want to scratch them and don’t care if it gets wet or dirty.
Great beginner video for doing windows. Just a side note. I clean in Tampa Bay. In the summer try to do your outside windows in the early am or late afternoon in Tampa like climates. You can do them during the day however you will really need to keep the mop extra wet. If you don't it will dry immediately and you will have to do it all over again. I have been cleaning for a very long time and I absolutely love your content.
That's pretty neat. I just looked it up and both are owned by Procter & Gamble. In Germany, they briefly changed the name to Dawn, but sales declined so they changed it back to Fairy!
Glass has fabrication debris from the manufacturing process. The razor blade breaks off that debris and drags it, scratching the glass. Good glass manufacturers (Andersen Windows) they have clean processes in manufacturing and their glass sounds like silence when the razor blade glides over the soapy watered surface. It's the fabrication debris in the glass not the tempering that causes the glass to scratch.
Call a professional. If the spots are new, they can be removed with some bronze wool but clean the window first to remove dirt; if you get dirt under the wool, it will scratch the glass.} (Steel wool will leave pieces behind that rust)
Notice you didn’t wipe an inch of your squeegee on the inside of the house, guess you didn’t have enough hands,🤣 Good video, you can clean my windows anytime!

Very motivating! If it didn't feel like I was living on the surface of the sun I would go out and do this right now! Maybe in November.
😂😂😂 for reals

Many years of practice and figuring out what works and what doesn’t! Thanks so much for watching!
I’m a fellow window washer, thanks for the tips.
Love you! You are my home boi when it comes to finding cleaning videos. Thank you!
I waited too long this year and it has been in the 100's. UGH Love your channel.
I own a cleaning business! I do almost the exact routine when I clean windows. I just need to get a small paint brush!😅 you're so inspiring!
I’m 18 years old and I’m looking for a side hustle. Should I just go to random businesses and ask if they want their windows cleaned for $5?
@@shitpostingcrusader7966why not

Love your videos, I’m a professional window cleaner myself. Regards from Sydney.
This was super helpful. I appreciate how detailed it was!

Get a doca pole squeegee kit for high windows so avoids using a ladder.
Very detailed - thanks Brandon! 👍
Thank you!

This is sooo good! No windex! Who knew?😂😂😂
This was really helpful. Thank you ❤

Great video. Really helpful
In the UK, what would be an equivalent to Dawn dish soap? Fairy Liquid maybe?
Yes
@@Beekind_buzzbuzz thanks!

@@ShelterDogs thanks for the info! 👍
How come you don’t have to rinse the soap mixture off?
Zen is right! 👊🏻
Thanks always for the helpful tips. You wouldn't happen to know a thing or two about cleaning jalousie windows, would you?
Not really unfortunately, I don’t see many of those here in Wisconsin.
Nice cleaning
I use squeeges in bathroom, after each shower. Also on mirrors.
that's exactly how i clean glass as a housekeeper👊👊👊
Great job 👏
So how do you then clean the cobwebs out of the cobweb brush?
Why Hyde your window cleaning solution?
Brilliant
So no rinsing right?
I always add Rain-X at the end
So we don't need to rinse the Dawn water off?
One tablespoon of Dawn ( or some other dish soap) to one gallon of water. You want just enough soap for the squeegee to glide and not more.

So cool
I have stubborn water spots on my windows 😢… need some help. Moved in to new home and noticed them and haven’t been able to remove them

Sometimes I’ll just wipe on the scrubber if it’s dry enough 🙂
Can i just use windex and paper towels?
In the UK.. some car cleaners swear by windex and newspapers. Go figure eh
You can it’s just takes a lot longer and the possibility of streaks is going to be higher.
😍
hahaha yewwwwwwwwwww!!!
