the only thing that makes me a bit skeptic about this plugin is the visuals, i know full well if i open the gui on an already intense project my cpu will begin to crawl, just opening up a kilohearts plugin(that is very light in terms of visuals) makes the audio crackle slightly

Its actually not to bad .. I have way worse cpu intensive plugins .. and i usually render once I get the sound i want anyways

i think this Plugin BEAM is too big and too heavy on visual but sounds really good and is very complex i like very much.

I’ve been really enjoying the simple workflow of EFX fragments by arturia recently and it can get really complex if you want it to but is easy enough to jump into presets and adjust parameters to what you want

Am I wrong to say it's similar to what you can do with Cableguys Shaperbox 3?

It has a couple of similar components but the distortion and granular modes are very different

i hate this type of plugins with so much heavy looking visuals, which "frying" your cpu and gpu only to satisfy the eyes
or to somehow accompaniment the higher price. Unfortunately in this niche that sells obviously, instead of the dsp algorithms for good sounds

This plugin is extremely CPU efficient. The visuals were designed by former Pixar people
