- We found an amazing place in Fukuoka that boasts calmness, nature and food! From burger to ice cream and to Japanese mocchi! Dazaifu Tenmangu is a must visit! Not really sure if it is Japan's best kept secret in Fukuoka but I definitely enjoyed spending some of my time in that place.

From the bustling streets of Tenjin, where I indulged in a bit of retail therapy, to the serene beauty of Futamigaura beach, where I found peace amidst a surfing spot and cafe, Fukuoka has it all.
After several days of watch hunting and window shopping in Fukuoka, Japan. We decided to dedicate some time for calmness and peace. We saw somewhere that Dazaifu Tenmangu is one of Japan's best kept Secret and decided to give it a try. Is it really worth it?
For me, yes! You will enjoy this if you want to see the other side of Japan that is not technology related and wanted to connect with the fresh breeze of air.
One popular spot in this place is the Starbucks in Dazaifu and it just so happened that it is on our way. So we will show it to you on this episode.
Aside from the beautiful shrine, massive trees and fresh air. Dazaifu Tenmangu also boasts amazing food! I got cought off guard with the ice cream and I just ate my BEST MOCCHI in Japan!

@@yourMADcorner those two are ubiquitous in Fukuoka especially the mentaiko Croissant. Yum yum. It's Japan's answer to Bottarga. It's seldom seen in Tokyo and Osaka and sometimes go by names like Tarako.

If you plan to go back to Dazaifu... Make sure to go to the Kyushu National Museum that's walking distance from the shrine... And the Kamado Shrine which is a more remote and spiritual Shrine, just a short bus ride from Dazaifu (famous for the demon slayer anime)
